With it having been released on a Sunday afternoon, I realize not everyone may have had time to play the latest update, but I hope a lot of you have! Please let me know if you have any feedback. I tried a couple new things in this update so would like to know if they were worth the effort, if anything didn't work well, and what you'd like to see in a future update.
Also, I am going to be dropping a tiny update in the next week or two, adding some additional audio to Chapter 15 and adding on the cliffhanger I had planned on but didn't have time for. Stay tuned for that!
I'm planning to do a poll soon to get a sense as to how many people are opting into and out of the weresex content. That won't go away, but it helps me determine how much of it I should aim on including.
And, how are you finding the new weresex consent feature to be working? It is designed to revamp everything pretty much from the start of the game, so menus choices should be clearer and content either available or not based on a menu setting, without you having to guess or try to remember previous dialogue options.
Now, some minor spoilers ahead regarding what I have planned for the next couple of updates, so if you want to avoid those, now is a good time to stop reading.
The next update is going to let us check-in with Nick. I'm also looking at giving Alex some one-on-one time with Mayhew and, if you're on a TeamVampire path, perhaps getting a little something special from Mayhew *wink wink*. And, I'm looking at integrating Riley into the story at this point (he's the ginger we saw talking to Nick in the park). Once that's done, Alex is going to be off to Paris, a nest of vampires, and on the trail of the proto-virus..

I really enjoyed this, it's hard to pick sides. I want to be with Connor and LOVE me a good werewolf scene (thank you🥺), but giving more and more control to Mayhew is also hot😂 No complaints thus far! I think there is a good, healthy amount of knotting behavior and I like that ending scene is a bit more "realistic" with the fact that something that size would split you in half if you're a novice and also unprepared😂 I'm excited for more. Paris will open a world of opportunities for storyline...

2024-02-17 16:33:51 +0000 UTCOf course all the scenes with Mayhew are always going to be the most intriguing, since he has endless potential as the "boss" of this story. Other than that, the dynamic between Alex and his pet weres (Paolo, Ronan and Connor) could have so much potential. Might be fun to see them compete for his attention/affection, or deepening the triangle (square?) aspect.

I have to write Mayhew in a way that he's not completely alienating to folks who don't like him but have to work with him, but Dubois will be a fun chance to just lean into "I'm evil, I'm kinky, and I want to pound you hard until your a quivering pile of jello."

But figured (a) it would be so niche it wouldn't be worth the time, and (b) would run afoul of Patreon's TOS. But no, our Discord server has. A heavy contingent of folks who are into carnal relations with monsters of all stripes, including monsters that will eat you. 😂

2024-02-14 04:17:00 +0000 UTCI'm not opposed but I much prefer the vampires to the werewolves. I really enjoyed the first interaction between Alex and Dubois. So I can't wait until Alex's Paris trip. The way Dubois thirsted for Alex, I can't wait to play that interaction out and potential 'hook up' (hopefully)! Alex, ultimately having to choose between two vampires; yes please...😉

2024-02-14 04:03:46 +0000 UTCI agree that the were-sex scenes are less expressive than the human ones, but I also like how they've become more prevalent as the story progresses. It shows how Alex is getting so quickly immersed in this world that was previously invisible

2024-02-13 23:58:18 +0000 UTCI like the new consent sequence. If I remember correctly, the previous one was locked behind specific dialogue options, so this makes the whole thing more transparent. That being said, I personally really enjoy the writing. The character development is more engaging that the sex scenes(not that they are bad!). I'm a big fan of Ronan, and although he feels like hard mode compared to most of the other characters, being able to (very gradually) defrost him has been fun. Also a fan of Paolo, although if Ronan is hard mode then Mr. Kitty is nightmare mode. It seems like there might be some one on one opportunities with him in upcoming content in Paris, so that should be fun. Thanks for your work on this project!

2024-02-13 22:32:18 +0000 UTCThat's really helpful feedback, thanks! One of the challenges I definitely have is facial expressions which may contribute to the "doll" effect you're describing. The models just are not setup for good expressions, particularly Ronan's model which has 0 options for expressions. (It's why I didn't focus too much on Connor's face in this scene.) I like the werewock but all opinions are valid and if there is a way I can improve it, I'm happy to do it.

But I have to say it is INCREASINGLY a bigger part of the content, it is probably fairly hard to do and I'll be frank, I am very unsure it pays off? I can't say I've seen 3D sex scenes with monsters work anywhere near as well as 2D drawings do. The models just look like dolls to me. I mean maybe custom models could do that but who can even afford that? I just don't find any of the models sexy and even the genitals look like dildos, and not even good ones. Especially given that your human models are gorgeous and the game started mostly with human scenes.
