January 2024 Progress Update (Build 14) -- "So close!"

Hey all!

As promised, I've been working gangbusters on this next update, with 112 images generated just this week. It's a lot of images, but I'm not sacrificing quality to get these out to you. I'm pushing hard to get this out in the first week in February. Things are coming together really well and I think folks are going to be very happy, particularly those who are looking for some special time with the resident boy scout (or is that wolf scout)?

As I've been working through the update, I've been struck with some inspiration on how to make the final scene really provide something memorable. This has required a little bit of extra writing as well as testing some poses to see if my idea would even work, but it isn't causing any delays. (Honestly, it's part of my normal process. I write a first draft, then as I begin creating renders, I'm rewriting as I go and expanding where I think something needs to be fleshed out a bit more.)

Now, I do have to travel out of town for work this coming week, but that's budgeted into my timeline. At the pace I've been going this week and knowing how many renders I still need to make (even after the extra bit of writing), I should still be on target for a release first week of February. (It's also why I wanted to get you this update now instead of when I'm on the road.)

For folks who keep track of numbers, after all the images and audio are added, I'm estimating more than 2000 lines of code and more than 600 images. On top of that, this update is bringing the huge quality of life improvement where you can opt in (or out) of NSFW shifted content from the main menu. This should eliminate a lot of the confusion about whether folks should be able to see or unlock the shifted content (and assure those who don't want to see it that they'll be able to avoid it).
