Progress Update and Itch.Io Donation Drive

Hi everyone! I realize I've been a little quiet lately largely because I don't have too much to show you, but still wanted to check in and give you a report on how things are going.

Although making progress on the script for the next update, I've been experiencing a fair amount of writer's block the last few weeks. I keep writing and banging away at the script -- I have ideas for banter between the characters and substantive, background-building dialogue with Seth -- but I'm also struggling with how to keep the writing tight and moving the plot forward. This has resulted in the writing of scenes or dialogue that I then wind up changing or deleting. But I'm now on the final scene for this update, I know where I want it to go and, with a little luck, may even have the writing finished this weekend. Then it'll be on to renders and finally back to sharing some sneak peeks with you.

In other news, you may recall that during the month of March I had pledged all donations received on Itch.Io to United24, a nonprofit setup to support Ukraine. Further, I promised to match the first $100. I'm happy to report that effort raised $105 in donations and, with my pledge, resulted in a final contribution of $205. It may not be much in the grand scheme of things, but ever little bit helps. I'm hugely grateful to all the fans who contributed, and continue to hope a just and peaceful resolution comes soon.
