Progress Update (Jan 2023)

Well, first things first... Happy New Year!

I hope you had a great holiday. We welcomed 2023 with another family out at our cabin, eating food worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, a couple bottles of champagne (actual French champagne for the purists out there) and watching, of all things, Netflix's How to Build a Sex Room. 🤣 Not what I expected to be watching on New Years Eve (though we did pause to watch the ball drop) but it prompted some fun conversations as well as purchases the next day. 😜

Alright, now onto BBN!

As promised, I've been hard at work with renders for BBN. Unfortunately I don't have much in the way of new sneak peek images to offer you as they're all part of the same conversation I gave you a snippet of in the previous SFW sneak peek. But, that sequence is nearly finished and the next sequences I have to render are for the two possible romance routes with this update:  one with Connor and the other with Nick. I was nearly there last night until my PC froze then crashed, so I walked away for a mental health break, but then I woke up at 4am (insomnia) and am back at it.

I know Connor is a fan favorite (and I love him, too!) but I'm also eager to give Nick some serious time back on screen. With Alex being in Mayhew's den the last couple of chapters, we haven't gotten to see much of our earnest detective and I'm eager to give his fans a chance to reconnect with him.

I'm also really happy with the positive feedback I'm getting so far on Seth's update. Tweaks are limited to his hair and I've also made some adjustments to his eyebrows, but I think the updates are a nice improvement to the model. More than that, I also hope this update gives his character a little more depth. In the last chapter, Mayhew offered his own perspective on what landed Seth in solitary confinement -- now Seth has a chance to respond.

As for scheduling and release, I may send out this update in a couple of steps, finishing one romance route with a release, then do the other romance route with a follow-up release, but we'll see how quickly it goes! Either way, I'm aiming to have something out for patrons this month!
