I've said before (many times) how much your support means to me. The encouragement and enthusiasm means more than anything, but the financial support really does matter. Thanks to you, today I was able to upgrade to a 3090 card.
From a technical perspective, when running these renders, the number of characters and assets I can load into a scene is entirely dependent on the GPU's available VRAM. My old 3080 was great for a lot of things, but was limited to 10 GB. More than three characters in a scene, and I had to start juggling a lot and working with different angles to make things work. (The scene in Alex's apartment with Nick, Seth, Connor and Ronan - the latter two sometimes as werewolves with a lot of fur - was particularly difficult.)
The new 3090 has 24 GB - - more than twice as much. So, it's not only faster, it can just handle so much more in the scene. More characters, more light, more "eggplants."
I couldn't have done this without you, so thank you. Looking forward to sharing more renders with you soon!
