Progress Update on Build 0.9

Alrighty. This has been a very busy couple of weeks for me and I've been teasing bits of information here and there but I think it's time to put it into one spot and let you know what's currently planned for the next update.

1. The writing is nearly finished

This doesn't require much explanation. I'm currently trying to finish up two of the possible endings for this update, and then I need to go back and write a transition between scenes, but it's nearly done and I'm hoping I'll be able to have it wrapped up this weekend.

2. Image Gallery for PC and Mac

That's right. This is up and running and I've already added images through Chapter 7. More will be added as I have time. In terms of the process, for every image I add, I have to manually add it into the code and create a unique thumbnail. Individually, it doesn't take too long but going through all the images I've created and adding them to the gallery code can quickly snowball. So, at this time, this will be just for PC and Mac releases. Sorry, Android users, but reworking the GUI and thumbnails to work on a mobile screen is just a bit more than I can handle right now.

3. New Content (light spoilers)

We haven't had very much explicit content in the last couple of updates. I'm aiming to make that up to you in this next one and, as always, in a way that makes sense in this perverse little world I'm creating. I may have to break some of this up, but I have a lot planned. First, there are going to be two different scenes with different partner(s). For one of those scenes, you're going to have some options. Options that people have been asking for for a long time.

First, Alex is going to have the opportunity to top. That's right. You'll be able to put our precious bottom in the other position and start to assert some Dom energy.

Second... I've promised it since the beginning of BBN. I've teased it. And now it's finally coming. Yes, you will have the option to have Alex hook up with a fully shifted werewolf. Now, if you have chosen in previous chapters to avoid this kind of content, don't worry:  the "furry"-option won't appear for you and instead you'll get a non-furry alternative. But if you indicated interest, it's going to be there.

Third, I'm throwing in some other options as well, simply because this particular scene is ripe for them. It'll be a lot of working making images for all of these, but it's going to be worth it.

4. When!!!!!!?

Once the writing is finished, I'll go onto creating the images. Now, for good or ill, this update is going to have a lot of explicit scenes. And posing for explicit scenes is the most time consuming type of image due to the different points where bodies can touch and genitals that need to be morphed or adjusted. And there are going to be a LOT of them in this update. That said, I'll do my best to keep you updated on progress as well as any delays. You can also expect a lot of very spicy sneak peeks.

5. Anything else?

Two quick notes. I'm changing the way I number the updates/builds going forward. From now on, each number is going to represent the inclusion of new content that moves the story forward. Letters will indicate technical updates or bug fixes. I've been alternating how I did this in the past, mostly based on whim, and I think settling down to this system will just make more sense.

Second, with the pressure to get 0.8 out before the end of March, I didn't get around to making any Patron-exclusive images. I'm working on some of those now and they should be ready by this weekend.
