Quick Progress Update
Added 2022-03-24 13:34:59 +0000 UTC
Update on the Update: Assuming my rig doesn't completely sputter and die in the meantime, I should have this out by the 31st. I have maybe four renders left to stage and run, then some overlays I have to run manually. (There will be a BtS post on that scheduled for after the release.) I've made great progress but am getting slowed down because the software randonly crashes when I try to pose some of the models. This just started happening when I updated the software. (One of these days I'll learn my lesson to not update software mid-build.) Anyway, as soon as this release is out the door, I'm doing the CPU upgrade along with a fresh install of Windows and all the 3d assets; hopefully that will fix the issue.

Hi everyone! Wanted to give you a quick progress update on the next, er, update.
At a high-level, I'm down to the last 200 lines of script that need images. For context, when I'm able to focus, I'm able to get through 50 to (sometimes) 100 lines in a day. That is a bit dependent on external factors, like work, family, etc., but I'm close.
Once that's done, I need to add audio and QC testing. This time I'm also going to be running the images through some additional post-processing in Photoshop. BUT... I've got a week left and I'm optimistic I'll have it done in time.
I'll send out another update in a few days. If I'm not able to get the fully polished release out before the end of the month, I have a couple ideas I'm chewing on but I'll share those if and when it seems necessary.
On the very back end of things, I've also ordered a new CPU and mobo. It won't be as helpful as an upgrade to a 3090 but it's a lot more affordable and hopefully will make back-up rendering on the CPU more feasible.
