End of Month Update - Jan 2022

It's that time again! So, here is my regular end of month update.

I've got good news and bad news. The good news is I've made great progress on the second mission I'm doing for SpaceCorps XXX, with a development build out to two special playtesters. All that's left is fixing some renders, adding audio, and adjusting some transitions. As soon as I'm done writing this post, I'm going to do another playthrough and queue up renders that need to be fixed.

The bad news is getting this right has taken a lot longer than I anticipated. You may recall I was hoping to have this done the first week of January, but here we are and I'm still working on it. Part of that has been technical challenges with lighting requiring a lot of testing and iterations with renders (in QC, I've found I have to redo almost half the images), some of it has been real life with weekends away from my rendering rig, and then this last week I've been laid low with a bad head cold that has made concentrating very difficult.

Alright, so, what's next? After this is done, my full attention is going back to BBN and I won't be doing any other collaborations for a while. Working on these missions has been a huge honor as well as fun, and has helped me learn some new skills, but I want to get back to working full time on BBN. I already have a lot written for this next chapter and I think I'm going to release it in a series of smaller yet still narratively coherent parts, that way you're not waiting a long time between updates. I want to have the first part of Chapter 12 out to you by the end of February.

One final note, as suggested in this month's NSFW exclusive image, you can expect the explicit scenes in BBN to start getting a bit more kinky (putting the "bound" in Bound by Night). This is going to include more power plays such as happened with Kai in Chapter 1, bondage scenes, and options for sex with shifted werewolves. All of it will be consensual in-game, and all of it will be optional for the player, so if there are kinks you're not interested in, you can skip the scene or, in some cases, choose a less kinky alternative scene.
