Poll: Side Stories?

A conversation with a fan on another site had me thinking about something, and I wanted to see if it was something y'all would be interested in...
Would you be interested in some creation stories for some of the characters (e.g., Mayhew, Ronan)? If so, this would be a secondary priority to getting you content on the main story, but something I could work on when I needed to change gears a little bit.
These would be from the POV of the character in question. For example, there could be a story from Ronan's POV of how he came to meet Nick, the nature of the bargain he struck with Mayhew, and why he did it. Mayhew's might start with him as a human and how he came to be an elder, navigated the hazards of becoming a feral vampire (i.e., the ones Nick and Ronan hunted/killed in the Chapter 2 flashbacks), and began building his empire.
I don't want to over extend myself so I'm not making any promises, but would this be something you're interested in even if it meant things on BBN went a little slower?

Thanks for the votes and the thoughts! I'll keep this open the rest of the week but the vote seems heavily weighted towards focusing on the main story for now. I love that there is interest in this, whether concurrent or after BBN is finished. My own thought process has been to do this after BBN (I've even been toying with the idea of a prequel VN about Mayhew) but I'd gotten a few questions about it so thought I'd gauge interest. Anyway, keep sharing thoughts if you have any. Meanwhile, end of the month is approaching so I'll try to have a Dev Update up in the next day or two.

2021-10-25 22:15:07 +0000 UTCMayhew, Ronan, Nick…Connor? 😉 I’d be interested in it since…and you might already have a plan for it…but I get the feeling Mayhew is Mr. Big Deal amongst his kin. Is he? Or is he actually a paper tiger when compared to his maker? Are there others? Is he actually just bullying humans and his kin prefer a more hands off approach to humans because they find them curious/interesting because their lifespans are so short yet they have such big dreams but lack the context and patience only centuries of life can provide? Yeah I’d be very interested in some backstories on the characters personally.

2021-10-25 00:10:04 +0000 UTCI'd be very interested in it! However I think these sidestories might be better suited for when the main story is done/further developed. Only because they might reveal the motivations and inner workings of characters that we haven't been privy to yet. Switching POVs like that, although a powerful storytelling device, can ruin the pacing and mystery of some characters. It all depends of the content of the stories, but I think it's something to keep in mind.
