Quick Update on Build 0.4

Just a quick update here for you from an undisclosed beach location:

Connor’s introduction in Chapter 4, including the script and all renders are done. I am going to revise Santino’s dialogue in Ch. 4 a little as I got some positive feedback on the Italian phrases I’d used for him in Chapter 3 as adding some distinct personality to him. So, unless y’all tell me “Hell no, I hated it,” I’m going to make that part of his character (though not overdoing it).

The first draft for Chapter 7 is also done and was beastly due to a branching decision that’s carrying over into Chapter 8. Before adding in any code for images, sound, transitions, it’s about a quarter the size of the Build 0.3 all on its own. But, I think it’s going to be worth it in the end and should have that branch tied up by the end of Chapter 8 so I’m not going crazy trying to keep track of everything. Chapter 8 (previous conceived of as two chapters but now combined) is also going to be a pretty large piece, having a scene with Connor then a second scene with Santino. Then I’m going to drop a teaser for the next update and what’s in plan for Chapter 9.

As to the most important of issues 😉, this update will start right off the bat with a sex scene and I’m working on incorporating one more. Depending on how the scenes evolve, there might be two more.

All told, even though it’s just two chapters, this update should minimally be on par with or larger than the update in Build 0.3.

I’ll get the renders started this weekend when I’m back in front of a proper computer and hopefully have some sneak peeks of that for patrons next week.
