BtS: Picking a Werewolf

To make the scenes for Bound by Night, I use a piece of software called Daz3d. It's an amazing tool and I still have a lot to learn about what it has to offer. But in broad strokes, the software works by loading in 3D models that creators buy from various websites. There are a few options out there for werewolves, but (honestly) not as many as I'd like. Because these models aren't free, I've been putting some thought into which model to use for Bound by Night's resident lycan.

The images attached here are promo images from two of the top contenders:  HH Werewolf and Werwulf. Another top contender (not pictured) is WolfBeast.

All of these come with different pros and cons. For a game like Bound by Night, I need something that can inspire a sense of dread and fear, but also something that readers/players would be interested in seeing in an explicit scene (whether consensual or not). It's a balance I'm struggling with. One of the pros for the HH-version is there is some genitalia specifically designed to be grafted onto the model (a huge convenience), but I'm worried the model may be too fierce for a typical reader to want to see an explicit scene with it.

Fortunately, there is one consideration with these models I don't have to worry about with the "humans." For the human models, they have to be matched to a particular series of base models. Those base models are generally referred to as either Genesis 3 or Genesis 8 (I'm not sure what happened to 4 through 7). As a creator, that's significant because all my other assets (hair, wardrobe, poses, genitals) are tied to the base model. What works for a Genesis 3 model may not work for Genesis 8, and vice-versa. And that means money.

But for the werewolf, that's less of a consideration as the werewolf model is entirely distinct from the same character's human model. (Sadly, no blending of the two and showing a morph between human and werewolf form.) BUT, to the extent there will be explicit content with the werewolf, I will still have to pair it with some genitals. Fortunately, that's also a purchase that's further down the road.
