Celebrating 30 chapters ahead
Added 2023-05-29 18:39:07 +0000 UTCThank you to all the new Patrons! Your support is making my writing dreams a reality and I couldn't be more thrilled that you're enjoying my story. Seriously, thank you.
Now that we are 30 chapters ahead of RR and SB, I've dropped the first chapter of my side project (which gives me an occasion brain-break from Density God.)
I hope you enjoy it as it's extremely fun to write. So far I've only been poking at it one day a week as my free time is almost entirely dedicated to D.God.
No regular chapter today since I'm spending time with family but I'm planning a double drop tomorrow to make up for it. There is a nasty cliffhanger at the end of the next chapter anyways so you're all thanking me from sparing you from that... right?

As long as the sideproject doesn't become more fun to write than the current main story. ;) l usually only read stories that can provide me with several hours or an evening of entertainment. Reading is my main hobby, so I need some volume. Autors used to put lots of different stories into one world - e.g. thinking of Mercedes Lackey or Terry Pratchett - so if Readers liked the first book they could the continue on with the book length side stories. Though there does need to be a completed first story as the basis.

If you read Runesmith, recently there was cliffhanger 6-7 chapters long. I did not mind that much but some people were really mad about it. Thing is if author decides to release it as a book eventually, cliffhanger will turn into good page-turner.
