v5c69: A Reassuring Place

Seeing Hong Yaowu really made things sink in that it was over. To the villagers, it had been a night of scary noises and distant flashes of light… and that was the extent of it. Nobody had gotten hurt here. Nobody died.

I felt relieved. An enormous weight dropped off my shoulders. Gramps was holding down the fort at home, so I could just, for the moment, drink tea, put my feet up, and watch over the rest of the village. It was nice to sit for a moment, without having to worry about anyone or anything else.

Meimei and her dad went to hang out in their library, taking Zhuye with them, leaving me on a bench, just soaking it in.

The joyful shouts of children drew my eyes to Chun Ke who was, of course, racing around the fields. The usual gaggle of kids were on him and the sleigh strapped to him—surprisingly, this time he was joined by an amused-looking Spooks. The Thunderhoof had kids sitting in his antlers and on his back, cheering while he galloped along.

A flash of red and laughter brought me to Big D, Rizzo, and Peppa. They had gravitated more to the adults. Big D looked a lot more comfortable as a human than as a chicken, and instead of going off alone to sit on a roof, he was amicably chatting with a couple of the men as they brought out a Go board. Peppa and Rizzo were, to my amusement, helping the rest of the ladies paint their noses Rudolph red—Peppa’s costume seemed to be quite the smash hit.

“Eat, child, eat! You need more food!” The demanding voice brought me to one of the newcomers. The attention of the grandmothers and grandfathers were dominated by Yushang of all people. I still didn’t know her all that well, but what I did know was that she was the most gregarious cultivator I had met outside of Tigu. She was cheerfully eating sweets and getting pampered by all the old timers while she played Go with them, and told them stories about the Howling Fang Mountains where she had grown up. Han was beside her, rolling his eyes at her tale, but he seemed to like the attention. Shao Heng was nearby, shaking his head at her antics… but he seemed to have enough old man energy that he fit in, too.

Xiulan had been captured by Quiet Liu—and was smiling indulgently as they wove together crowns of cedar and holly.

Yun Ren and Gou Ren were with Ten Ren and Hu Li—their parents were fussing over them, especially over their new appendages.

“Am I gonna grow one of these?!” Hu Li demanded, her narrow eyes sharp.

Nezan, on Yun Ren’s shoulder, shrugged. “Your Qi is a bit too weak—but I do know some excellent craftsmen if you wish to know what it's like.”

Hu Li considered this offer, then turned to Ten Ren with a cheeky smile. “Oh, what do ya think, hubby? Would I look good with ears and a tail?”

Her voice was flirty, and Ten Ren started to obviously consider the proposition, much to the brothers’ horror.

“What the hells, Ma! At least where we can’t hear!” Gou Ren yelped, while Hu Li started cackling. She seized Yun Ren in a headlock, and started patting his ears.

“Ah? Ain’t your mom a pretty, foxy lady?” she demanded, her grin splitting her face. Yun Ren just looked resigned to his fate.

I snorted at the commotion, instead turning my gaze to the huffing and the puffing contraption that everyone else was gathered around. Bowu stood upon the Azure Express, his arms crossed triumphantly as it chugged around its track. Xianghua was eagerly shoveling fuel into the locomotive’s engine.

Washy was lazing inside his fellow “dragon”, coiled all about it. Tigu and Delun were in the small passenger car, in animated discussion about the artifact. Delun was writing something down and gesturing wildly while Tigu looked on, a small smile on her face while she watched his focused eyes. Finally, Babe, Yin, Noodle, and Huo Ten were simply watching it go round and round.

“It's a loud, rude, annoying contraption, ain’t it?” an old, crotchety voice mused from beside me. I turned to where the old woman was standing, her eyes on the Azure Express. Her goat, Lan Fan, was peacefully chewing her cud, while an old tomcat perched on her shoulder. Her words were haughty and disgusted, but I saw a glimmer of interest while she looked at the iron beast.

“It can get noisy, yeah. With all the steam and gears,” I agreed. “Just wait until he figures out the steel and machining for a higher pressure; the whistle will sound for a hundred Li.”

“How utterly dreadful!” she complained halfheartedly, before she turned to look at me. “You look awful, brat.”

I raised my bandaged arms. “You should see the other guys,” I replied. She snorted, a small smile coming to her face. I let my arm drop, and bowed. “Thank you, grandmother. For warning us. I don’t know how I can ever repay you.”

The old crone let out another cackle. “Oh? I can think of some ways. Here.”

I blinked, and took the piece of paper she shoved into my face. I unfurled it, as it was rather long. I read through it carefully… before bursting out laughing.

It was a formal demand for tribute. The items demanded were food.

“Your terms are very steep, honoured grandmother,” I joked.

“Damn straight! We had the food here, and now neither I nor my husband desire anything else! You can take care of us until we croak, and then your debt will be fulfilled. Isn’t this old lady’s generosity grand?”

“Indeed, grandmother. I kowtow before your benevolence,” I said, bowing deeply again and continuing the bit. “My house and everything within is yours!”

When I rose, she was still smiling, but it was a bit complicated.

“Hmph! Too much, brat, too much! The only thing this old lady desires is to be left alone. I’m quite fond of my peace and quiet.”

“No one will bother you. I promise.”

She looked into my eyes, and her expression softened.

“Well. You’ve been quite good at keeping your oaths so far. This Shiyun shall trust you—and tell that old bastard who stayed behind to keep black clouds and shrieking falcons far away.”

“Yes, grandmother,” I agreed, and some of the tension released from her shoulders.

“Excellent! Now, scooch over and tell this old lady a story! It's been way too long since I’ve had a blow-by-blow account!”

I was already getting sick of telling this story—but I gave it my all.

========================

Bi De found the village much more enjoyable as a human.

It was fun.

Indeed, the grasping hands from children were far more tolerable when it was his clothes rather than his tail feathers that were grabbed. He even found their presence downright enjoyable, like when Young Xian asked to ride on Bi De’s shoulders.

He spent the day most enjoyably, speaking with the villagers and playing some Go, helping cooking, and sneaking off for a moment with Ri Zu to enjoy her company. Her lips were as sweet as ever.

And then, the final event of the day, was the solstice dance. Bi De had been worried that he was going to miss it this year, and technically, they did—but Young Xian was kind enough to recreate it for them. The pounding drums and the whistling of the engine made for fine music. They wouldn’t be going all night, but that didn’t matter.

He danced with his Master, he danced with the Healing Sage, he danced with his little brother Zhuye, the babe bouncing up and down with a big smile on his face.

He danced with Ri Zu, and Yushang, and then them both, before Yushang was recaptured by the elders, much to her amusement. He danced with Yin and Pi Pa, Yin’s blazing solar Qi resonating with the dance, and making his heart pound, while Pi Pa was graceful beyond belief.

He danced with brother Chun Ke, the boar in his human form. He was uncoordinated, but he made up for it with jolly enthusiasm.

He danced with Tigu—but his sister turned it into an almost impromptu sparring match, their blows and dodges barely managing to stay within the realms of appropriateness, but it was fun.

He saw Shao Heng sitting on a roof like Bi D once did, a small smile on his face as he observed the festivities.

His heart was full, and his smile bright—which is why it was so surprising when he was summoned away, along with Ri Zu.

“To the chief’s house,” Xianghua said, her face blank. Gou Ren was watching on, his arms crossed and his face similarly blank. He looked extremely tense and stiff.

Bi D felt his confusion grow, as Ri Zu was told to join him.

He had been having a wonderful day—but now, there was tension in the air.

He entered the chief’s home, and walked to the house’s hall. There, Hong Xian sat, his face severe. Beside him sat his Great Master, looking equally grim.

“Sit,” Hong Xian the Elder commanded, and both Bi De and Ri Zu obeyed, shuffling nervously.

“Fa Bi De. It has come to my attention that you have been… lax in your duties,” his Great Master proclaimed sternly, and Bi De felt his heart seize in his chest. Just what was going on?!

“Indeed. Fa Bi De. When were you going to ask permission to court my daughter?” Hong Xian demanded.

It was then that Bi De noticed the twitching of their lips, as both his Great Master and Elder Hong struggled to keep from laughing. The Healing Sage was even peeking in through the door, her shoulders shaking with mirth.

Ri Zu squeaked with mortification. Bi De felt a blush come to his cheeks.

He bent low, kowtowing. “Forgive this one, Elder Hong, Master! He has indeed been lax! Elder Hong, Bi De begs you for your blessing, so that he may court your daughter!”

“Hmph!” Hong Xian huffed, turning his nose to the sky. “What say you, son? Shall we allow this one to continue hounding my daughter?”

Bi De’s Master stroked his chin. “I think we should ask Ri Zu.”

“Indeed! Daughter! What do you think of this man?” the man asked. Ri Zu bowed low as well.

“Father, your daughter loves him very much, and begs for her father’s blessing.”

“It appears we must allow it, my son,” Hong Xian declared, smiling.

“Indeed, indeed,” His Master decreed, his smile wide as well—until he could take no more, and began to laugh. “Did you catch their faces, Yun Ren?” he asked.

One of the corners of the room shifted, and Yun Ren appeared, his grin vulpine.

“They were pretty great, if I do say so myself.”  He turned to Bi De and Ri Zu.  “I told you Meimei would be upset that you didn’t allow me to take pictures!  This is the consequence!” he joked, turning his nose in the air.

Bi De snorted, and began laughing. Ri Zu, after a moment, joined in.

“They got us good, didn’t they?” he asked Ri Zu. His lover chuckled.

“Yes. but… it's not so bad,” Ri Zu replied, before her expression became a bit complicated. “Daughter…” she muttered.

“Indeed. You are Hong Ri Zu—I said as much, even in your other form, that you were a daughter of our house,” Elder Xian stated simply. “No matter what, you have a place here.”

Ri Zu slowly smiled. She bowed again. “Thank you for looking after me, father,” she said.

Their Masters got them cups of wine, and more of their friends came to see what the commotion was about.

“I was so close to laughing and ruining it all!” Gou Ren said, mirth upon his face. “It's why I asked Xianghua to tell you for me!”

Bi De could only laugh along.

It truly was good to be home.

Alright. now I think its like 5-6 chapters until the end. A bit longer than I originally thought.

1 more chapter this week!

Edited by:  BargleNawdleZouss, Oshi

Comments

Some scenes, farmer could get away with. All the couples of fa ram jumping in mud pits? It would be heart warming every time

Lonnie

Cranky they've both been repeatedly referred to by those titles in the story by people other than the Oracle, it's not just a Seer thing.

Z H

There's also Bowu, Young Xian, and Washy who all have paramours now too so they all may be looking down the barrel of a Fatherly talk from Jin and Elder Xian before you long.

Z H

Also much crying and gnashing of teeth from all the readers

Z H

Huh, when I first read it I thought the train, but now the puppet makes more sense.

Z H

A very close friendship indeed. Dao Companions even. Why I heard some even said they were... Roommates!

Z H

Soon, soon. It's never a good idea to show your cock around prematurely after all.

Z H

I think you're overreacting a bit. CF is so good at this he made us empathize with a damn puppet worm.

Z H

Yeah as long as Farmer never goes the Robert Jordan route of just randomly repeating chapters word for word to pad his books he can't go wrong with more story!

Z H

Bi De finds out he enjoys kids when human and officially gains a lover? I see where this is going

Nicholas Tran

Bi De getting pranked like that, but Ri Zu being affirmed as a member of the family and their relationship acknowledged... its so much WAFF I can't help but laugh and cry.

Teh One & TrueTabi

I've thought about this for a couple of years now and the conclusion I came to was that their sisterly relation as co-disciples trumps their familial relations...? And maybe Tigu's place as Young Mistress (Pepa is older than her but Tigu is superior in cultivation and Pepa is uninterested in the position) helps balance it out?

MatrixM

@ Brian P. Yin Lotus is functionally something like grape or orange where getting the dew/juice requires little more than squeezing and it's ready to drink. Apple juice/cider or tea requires considerably more preparation to produce a beverage.

John D Jones

Perhaps a project for Lu Ri. With Jins formation and a little help from washy it might make a good hobby project for the next Twentie years.

leopard eye

This chapter was fantastically cute and wholesome

Old Hammer

And that is something not everyone can claim.

Allison McLemore

No one will ever complain about the length of the books. Write away

Lonnie

Thanks for the chapter!

Kt-x

Thanks Cf lovely chapter !

Patanahi

That *would* be a good matchup for intelligence gathering.

Randall Brynsvold

Uncle Iroh: “How could a member of my own family say something so horrible!”

Steven.Riske

I was seeing Rags with Vajra the Booze Queen XD

Angua de Blubb

She's been at Hong Yaowu since v5c19: The Grinch (June 23 2024), when she rode in on her goat with her cat on her shoulders to convey the part of the vision she could remember. Her husband followed later.

Randall Brynsvold

NGL, I've been really I've been rooting for Delun for a long time now lol. He and Tigu are so cute together!

Alex Ingraham

Also we can see if Xiulan works up the courage to ask Meimei and Jin if she could join them

James A. Glier

LMAO!! CF, you need to incorporate this! I can see either Yin or Xianghua idly considering this out loud near both Ri Zu and Tigu. Hilarity ensues... 🤣🤣🤣

Alex Ingraham

CF told us to trust him to not go all grimderp on us lol

Alex Ingraham

No worries! CF is very good at balancing these things.

Alex Ingraham

The Yin Lotus produce “dew” which is what they drank. They didn’t dry it nor did they boil the leaves, so that wasn’t tea.

Brian P.

Thanks!

Trevor Mergen

Thanks!

Trevor Mergen

Yin’s definitely shown attraction towards Bi De’s human form. Add on her immense feelings of respect and admiration, and it’s not hard to see how people might imagine her wanting to go beyond platonic friendship.

Aki_Iokua18

I agree with Aki & Truedragon, it's the train. Those two paragraphs are all about those near the train. Bowu driving it, Xianghua fueling it, Washy laying all over it, Tigu and Delun riding it, Babe, Yin, Noodle, and Huo Ten watching it.

Mark Greenberg

Do you think Jin could grow tea in what is basically Chinese Canada?

Truedragon5374

I hope that there's a Ri Zu and Bi Di wedding

Daniel Slominski

I’m not to sure on growing, but in of the senior brother chapters there was mention on how Washi and Pi Pa made the optimal brewing time for Tea, I had thought they grew it but I guess it’s more likely they just made the process in the actual leaves

Sam a Goat

They need an announcement of the betrothal!! Every year there has been a Christmas wedding announcement, tradition must be maintained!!!!

matthew gilley

I didn’t think those were common names so much as what a Seer would call them.

Cranky Otter

Yin is only a friend. To the ships, I’d add Loud Boy & Rags.

Cranky Otter

They did. That’s what Yn Ren wasn’t allowed to take pictures of.

Cranky Otter

Oh I'm not disagreeing that they likely SHOULD have been considered to be courting for some time, I was just noting that given the impossibility of them having a relationship as a rat and a chicken it wouldn't be unreasonable to treat their relationship as being a very close friendship.

David Brewer

Actually, Bi De expressed that he considered Ri Zu his wife as early as Volume 1, when Jin explained the concept of a wedding to Bi De (chapter 51: the Wedding), and in Volume 2, Ri Zu's response to Tigu saying "You are courting death!" was "The only one Ri Zu courts is Brother Bi De", so Leopard Eye is right. Though it is true that they only started kissing in the Shrouded Mountain Sect, and only started having sex after the mud pit scene.

Caoimhín

ahhhh.... that's so sweet

The butler did it

Interesting. I personally didn't know that the differences were so large, though I suppose that makes sense. Regarding the original question, I think the Yin Lotus that are growing in the bathhouse count? Shen Yu used them when attending his friends during the meeting.

Caoimhín

Even the way you dry and preserve them makes it different, and that doesn't even go into where you grow them. Sorry I ran off a tangent, but my point is it would need to be someone dedicated to the process of it, especially in xianxia land

Veltlore

Tea growing and harvesting is a different process than just farming. Different parts of the harvest produce different types of teas, even in the same harvest, different leaves from the like two springs of the plant you harvest are considered different

Veltlore

Bit of a random question here but has there ever been any mention of Jin growing his own tea? It just that with such illustrious guests coming to his place, so high quality Fa Ram tea would probably go well with his veggies.

Truedragon5374

I think the author should be careful not to get into a kind of enumeration with the many protagonists, where each character goes through and describes what they are doing and with whom else. I also think an occasional change of perspective is good, but if it's done all the time, you lose some of the ability to empathize with the character and root for them. I would like to support the otherwise wonderful work of the author with this review.

Neo tl1000sm1234

Yea, especially since I think the mud pit scene was their declaration of interest otherwise. Before that there was tension, but they were friends.

SnowReason

Ah, the peace. Thank you for the chapter!

Kasinki

He's such a proud and erect fellow!

Akki

Book

андрей ткач

Perhaps, but given the rat-chicken thing it wouldn't likely be considered courting by most people more like friendship.

David Brewer

Yeah, Delun knows. His reaction was being a bit shocked, then he pondered for a moment before saying that no matter her form, Tigu is Tigu. This is said in Vol 4 Chapter 80 part 2 "The Wheel Keeps Turning part 2"

Caoimhín

Just when the grandfather going to introduce his cock?

Andrew Nevius

Technically they have been courting longer than Ri Zu is Xian's Daughter.

leopard eye

Ah that’s right, Bowu’s marriage

WarStrider72

The townspeople called the Azure Express an 'Iron Dragon' when Bowu first showed it off

Truedragon5374

I hope we get a wedding announcement on the solstice for Bi De and Ri Zu. Chun Ki and Pi Pa too.

jord

Loved this chapter ❤️

Trish Brown

when you say "5-6 chapters to the end" Do you mean book or story?

StarBat

Gave me a fucking heart attack!

closeded

Does Delun actually know that she's a cat? Also is she actually a cat or a tiger?

Tijay Arnie

I thought they would announce it by throwing each other into a mud pit like they said all those chapters ago.

Carlos Torres

Ah finally back to slice of life. Who put angst in my cultivation novel?! I demand compensation!!

Golden monkey

I remember when my girlfriend’s parents sat me down and wanted to know my plans, good times. Helped me think of the future and I started to work hard. I’ll always be grateful to them. Some traditions are too good to be lost to time! Especially when done in service of someone you love.

Steven.Riske

True, he said that he'd do it when they got back home, and that was his plan. But Ri Zu didn't want to wait anymore, so she asked Yushang to arrange the mud pit.

Caoimhín

He's been steadily making progress all the while. Tigu even threw him in a mud pit already! Jin and Meiling have already made plans to meet Delun's parents, and in their minds they are already their in-laws-to-be. Delun hasn't taken things further because he took Jin's advice to heart. It's likely that things will get official when Tigu takes that step and kisses him or she goes and tell Jin and Mei about her intentions to be with Delun.

Caoimhín

Context points to the train imo.

Aki_Iokua18

Thank god, that ending bit scared me

Auralia

Let's see... We have these who are formal and marriage has been discussed. Fa Bi De x Hong Ri Zu Liu Xianghua x Xong Gou Ren Chunky Shan x Shan Pi Pa Lu Ri x Xiao Su Ge Then we have couples who have not spoken officially about marriage Xong Yun Ren x Biyu Liu Bowu x Ty An Shen Yu x Tianzhe Minyan (more like friends with benefits, but still putting them here, trusting in Jin's Wingmanship) Then we have ships or those who are likely to be couples in the future. Tie Delun x Rou Tigu'er Bi De x Liang Yin Special Inspector Acting Lord Magistrate x his harem Then, for further in the future, those ships hinted at by either the author or the artist: Hong Xian 78th x Zhao Liu Washy x Guan Chyou

Caoimhín

The sects

Anime Problem

Divines bless your kind heart!

Beggar of Freedom

The dragon puppet used in festivals

Cj

Ooooh, I thought he said he'd do it when they got back home.

William H

It's also not hard to understand, even if he doesn't know the title

BaguaBrady

Hahahaha! They got them so good! It's nice to see Bi De enjoying the villagers. A nice slice of village life. I see Delun got included this time. Shiyun is a treasure of croneness. Love her. Ahhh, feels like things are slowly settling down.

Angela Roberts

Oh now, THAT'S funny!!

Angela Roberts

Yes, Yushang dug a mud pit at the foxes' house for them, and they definitely got happily muddy before retiring together. 😇😍

Laura Hemly

No, they crime they commited was doing it without having Yun record it so Meimei could watch it later. That's what they got "punished" for.

Hasenearl

Make it three weddings!

Laura Hemly

Relaxing time~

Duke of Coffee

Hmm... so if Tigu is Jin and Meiling's daughter, and Ri Zu is Xian's daughter... does this mean Tigu should call Ri Zu "Auntie"? As if the freckles weren't annoying enough...

Insertnamehereokokipressedokok

Well, he did it back at the fox inn/brothel.

Marian Ch

He did, back in the village of the foxes. The thing is, they didn't follow protocol and inform the elders about their relationship, so they had to suffer the consequences XD

Caoimhín

“Washy was lazing inside his fellow “dragon”, coiled all about it. “ Are they talking about the train? Or the dragon puppet?

Catherine

I asked this a few chapters ago and got this reply from Casual Farmer "This is the cool down period and we are approaching the end of this volume. We still have plenty to go with Beware of Chicken."

Ope 'scuse me

Thanks for another fun chapter, CF! This one had all sorts of fun details In it, too, like Shiyun actually admitting her name -- she wasn't happy when Shen Yu discovered she was still alive and used her name when he first visited Verdant Hill, you may recall. But I love her tribute! Heck, I'd like to eat Fa Ram food too...

Laura Hemly

Not completely sure Yushung was joking there. 😅

CringeWorthyStudios

Late, actually -- this is Thursday's chapter. So one more tomorrow or Sunday, for three this week. Yay! ETA: Unless you mean early this evening, which I agree is nice.

Laura Hemly

He *is* very foxy.

CringeWorthyStudios

Definitely three weddings! Chun Ke and Pi Pa need a human celebration, too. Or an anniversary, or some other variation. They've considered themselves married practically since they were adorable pink piglets, but they've never had a celebration, including the mud pit!

Laura Hemly

Book.

CringeWorthyStudios

there’s what? Ri Zu and BiDe, Xianghua and Gou Ren, Yun Ren and his girlfriend who’s name is escaping me (shame on me) though I don’t think they’re at that point yet, Chun Ke and Peppa are already married in their hearts but they might have a ceremony, Delun has a long way to go but one day… oh! And gramps and elder Minian if she adopts Jin and the rest and doesn’t finally make Shen Yu marry her (or some arrangement that’s less ambiguous than it is now) I will eat my phone 😆. Looking at it like that it feels like a lot, but the cast of characters is so big in this series it’s not that bad. Did I forget anyone? Lu Ri and his betrothed maybe?

D J Meigs

Great to see the oracle granny back. Didn't know she came to Hong Yaouw. Glad Shen Yu and Jin both promised to respect her privacy

VIVEK CHOWDARY

book. If I'm ending the saries, there will be a bigger anouncement than something just at the end of a post

Casualfarmer

Yet. He didn't put her in the mud pit YET. 🥰

Laura Hemly

As always, thank you for the chapter. Was going to reread the previous chapter and found this wonderful surprise.

Old Dog

The end of what? The arc, book, or the story as a whole?

Yanni

Yun made a joke about staging a reshoot of it for Jin and Mei. But I guess he didn't do it. Also Yushung made a joke about her and Bi De jumping in the mud pit too

mag28

Nah RI Zu and Bi De did the mud pit at the fox's hideout. Between the SMS invention and heading North for demons. Yushang set up but didn't know why it was inmportant.

mag28

"a small smile on her face while she watched his focused eyes." That right there is how you know it's love. When the boisterous girl watches with calm contentment and serene fondness.

Caoimhín

Do mine eyes deceive me or is Delun making progress with Tigu? 😊

D J Meigs

Ahhh, he didn't put her in the mud pit like he said he would!

William H

I’m pretty sure it did. I think it was at the fox inn, after they unveiled the SMS they had a party and the two of them snuck out and came back covered in mud. That’s what Yun Ren means when he says this is his revenge for not getting to take pictures at the time. I’m almost positive.

D J Meigs

Ah, like father like son. Bi De did not expect to face the wrath of the father-in-law for courting his daughter without permission! Alls well that ends well with 2 weddings in the spring! Gou Ren x Xianghua and Bi De x Ri Zu!

WarStrider72

I thought Jin would have mentioned the Mud Pit. That still hasn't happened as I recall.

WyrdWizard

Hu Li is a foxy lady. And soon to be foxy grandma as well. Or right now if we count Zhuye.

WarStrider72

Thanks for the chapter!

Joker Nijima

Oh that was GLORIOUS! I swear, we need those recordings ourselves. I can only hope Tsuu will draw it, or Alice. But man, does this mean these two are going to get officially married? Hells yeah!

Cindermoth

Thank you for the chapter!!

Jon Dough

Oh boy looks like we have another wedding arc in the future... Maybe 3 weddings

James A. Glier

And the good times/feels keep coming. Loved the “stern dad” routine. So likely 1 1/2 to 2 weeks left before your 2 month break, yeah? Here’s hoping that any disturbances you encounter are small ones.

Aki_Iokua18

Aw, that's nice. That wedding should be interesting.

Randall Norman Pick

Tftc!

James Faulkner

Possibly, since Jin was a member of the Cloudy Sword Sect, after all, so knowing the title of the arguably strongest Elder in the sect wouldn't be strange. Elder Ge is also probably famous in that region, so his epithet might be known even by common folk.

Caoimhín

Yun Ren with the "vulpine grin"... Shall we start calling him Tattletale?

Andy

God that's nice to go into the weekend on.

Andrew Denton

Nice, early chapter~

Caoimhín

Thank you !!!

Jazer Andrew Sotomayor

In which Bi De finds out that sometimes it is more appropriate without his cock out where everyone can see it.

Baldanders

Thanks for the chapter

Redloopers

Jin heard Shen Yu address Minyan as 'Divine Falcon', but does he know that 'Black Cloud' refers to Elder Ge? Hmm...

BargleNawdleZouss

Thanks for the chapter, boss.

Baldanders

HE HAS RETURNED!!

liam funk

Thanks for the chapter boss!

WarStrider72
