Hey all.

So, I'm not sure why, but I suddenly thought of my patreon while eating breakfast. Maybe it was because I just got back from vacation, or maybe it's because it's now august, but I wondered whether or not I; had canceled the billing cycle for august 1st. 

And sure enough, I didn't. So as of now, all have been charged. I believe there are only 3 people who have been charged 2$, while all else have been charged 5. 

Because of this, I'm here to notify you all and make up for it. Before this post, I've posted the first 8 chapters of my Serum story. This is the first option for you all, which is to attain your money's worth in content. I will be posting more, I'm thinking about 10 more chapters throughout the month. If you enjoy the story and think 20 chapters are worth the 5 dollars, then I'm grateful.

 The second option though is to request a refund. If you don't enjoy the story or don't believe it's what you've paid for, then go ahead and request it. I'll give the refund, no questions asked. This is my mistake so I have no problem making up for it. However, since you'll still be subscribed, you'll still be able to read everything. In this way, I'm relying on the honesty of my readers. You determine what you want to do. And if you're worried about being charged again in September, don't be. I've already paused the September billing cycle.

So with that, I'll conclude my apology. My Serum story has been fleshed out very well. I've been working on it for a long while in my off time. There are no plotholes in the beginning, unlike my Origin Seeker story. This story was meant to be one where I didn't make all the rookie mistakes like in OS, and it's shaping up to be exactly as I hoped. I think I'm pacing it well too since the MC starts as a child. I wanted to make sure that the readers get to know enough without doing huge info dumps. He learns things along the way. 

I'm proud of it, and in terms of my backlogs, I'm just starting to get to the exciting, action packed part. You could say that the entire childhood arc is preparation for the future. I've got many things planned, and I'm doing my best to match the story to the fantastical one in my head.  

As for releases, I'm planning on releasing chapters every Tuesday and Thursday, so look forward to a consistent schedule.  

And on the note of the future, I've been pondering if I should come back in September. I've already established that I plan to come back before the end of the year, its just the exact month that's up for debate. I may very well be starting right now and continue into next month. 

If that's the case, I only need to decide how much I want to have on my plate. I've actually started yet another story called Will o Wisp. I haven't written many chapters for it, but I really like the ideas I have for it. My only problem is actually writing it alongside the other stories. If I plan to write three stories, I'll need to pace my releases. I may end up doing one chapter a week for each story. I guess I'll just have to experiment when the time comes.
