Sing to me, please

While editing a 3 PART SAGA where felka gently wakes you from a nap, just try on the most dulcet dresses for you... to then, take you along with her on a relaxing, well-deserved bath, singing to you all the while... I realized something.

I love to sing for you. To have you be witness to something so intimate as my voice in its most vulnerable: singing to myself in the bath.

Side note: You're going to love this new series I've been slaving over. I do, however, apologize for being away from you for so long, I've been working hard behind the scenes, but I know that silence can make the mind wonder what's going on. Rest assured, I am here.

As a kid, I was so embarrassed to have anyone hear me sing. I would turn red if anyone outside of my choir class found out that tough felka was in singing class, much less that she LIKED to sing..

My brother's made fun of me for singing "Sally's Song" from my favorite movie growing up. (Can you guess it? Gosh, I need a watch party for it, I swear...). That was enough for me to keep my angel-voice away from any ear ever. I remember walking ahead and singing to myself. Then, singing meant being put on the chopping block of ridicule. But it felt too good not to sing. My own private place I could escape to when I felt like I needed to recenter myself. At the young age of 7, I didn't know it at the time, but I was listening to my gut! Singing was something special for me. How badly I just wanted to sing with someone else. To have them hear me. Not just my voice, but me. To be accepted as I truly am.

This is all just a long way of saying, thank you for hearing me. Not just in the singing audios, but every night :) I cannot thank you enough for healing me, just by your showing up. You are healing little felka every time I sing for you.
