My Youtube Apology (lol)

The following is my appeal to Youtube - I thought it would be cool to take you with me on this journey! I'm done crying - it's time for ACTION! Please please drop your thoughts below on what I could improve. A girl... is desperate . (This girl, in particular).

Subject: Appeal for the Reinstatement of My ASMR Channel

Dear YouTube Team,

I am writing to respectfully appeal the removal of my ASMR roleplay channel, Felka. Over the past three years, I have worked hard to create a community centered around relaxation and comfort. The purpose of my channel is to help people unwind, fall asleep, and feel better through soothing whispered audios. Unfortunately, my channel was mistakenly terminated due to a misunderstanding, and I would like to clarify the nature of my content and express my commitment to adhering to YouTube’s guidelines.

Clarification of Content Intent and Purpose

For three years, I have been producing content that I believe provides a valuable service to my audience. My videos are intended to offer a relaxing atmosphere, where I share stories from my childhood, reflections on life and love, and passages from my favorite philosophy books, all in a calming, whispered voice. I strive to create an environment of comfort and peace for my viewers—many of whom rely on my content to help them manage stress, sleep better, and cope with their daily challenges.

I understand that ASMR, especially roleplay content, can be misunderstood, but I want to emphasize that my videos are in no way intended for sexual gratification. The goal of my channel is to provide therapeutic content that promotes relaxation and emotional well-being, not to create any sexually suggestive material. I never use sexually suggestive sounds or themes, and I make it clear that my content is always meant to be wholesome and stress-relieving.

Acknowledging Mistakes and Willingness to Improve

I do recognize that some of my thumbnails may have inadvertently violated YouTube’s policies. Specifically, I did not fully understand that showing clothed breasts in thumbnails is against the guidelines. This was an honest mistake, and I sincerely apologize for it. Moving forward, I will take immediate action to recreate all thumbnails that may have included this imagery, ensuring that they are fully in compliance with YouTube’s community guidelines. I deeply regret this oversight and assure you that I will not repeat it.

Examples of Wholesome ASMR Content

I believe there is a clear precedent for wholesome ASMR content on YouTube that focuses on relaxation rather than sexualization. For example, creators like Wholesome Girlfriend ASMR have found success with their similar roleplay videos that emphasize relaxation and emotional connection, not sexual or suggestive content. The ASMR community on YouTube is vast, and content creators who focus on non-sexual themes are both well-received and in line with YouTube’s policies. My content falls within this same category of wholesome ASMR.

Addressing the Video Removal: “ASMR Girlfriend Gives You A Haircut”

One of my latest videos, titled “ASMR Girlfriend Gives You A Haircut,” was flagged and taken down under the claim of being “sexually gratifying.” I want to emphasize that there is no nudity or sexual content in the video, nor were there any fetishes or inappropriate themes. The video is a simple, soothing ASMR roleplay where I gently talk the listener through a fictional haircut, paired with calming scissor sounds and childhood anecdotes. The primary goal was to help my viewers relax and fall asleep, not to engage in any form of sexual or suggestive behavior.

Unfortunately, the video was removed despite this clear intention. My subscribers, who number over 81,000, were equally confused by this decision, as they understand that the content is wholesome and not sexual in nature. Many of them have reached out to express their frustration and heartbreak over the removal of content that they find helpful for relaxation and emotional comfort. The feedback from my community further strengthens my belief that the video was wrongfully taken down.

Previous Success with Appeals and Commitment to Compliance

I have successfully appealed a prior termination of my channel, where YouTube recognized that my content did not violate any policies. After that experience, I made sure to fully familiarize myself with YouTube’s guidelines and policies to avoid future mistakes. Unfortunately, the recent issue with the thumbnails was a lapse in my understanding, but I am now fully committed to revising all thumbnails to meet YouTube's standards.

I am also prepared to shift my content to ensure that there are no elements of romantic dynamics or roleplay that could be misunderstood in the future. I am considering transitioning my channel to a solely whispered audio format with no direct “girlfriend” roleplay, as I recognize that even these gentle themes may be perceived differently by some viewers. This shift will align my content even more closely with YouTube’s community guidelines and ensure that I create a safe, relaxing space for all of my viewers.

Conclusion: Request for Channel Reinstatement

YouTube has always been an incredible platform for creators to share content that can positively impact others. My channel has been a source of comfort for thousands of people, and I have dedicated myself to upholding the highest standards of content. I ask for your understanding and support in reinstating my channel, as I truly believe this was an unfortunate mistake.

I am committed to ensuring my content complies with all of YouTube’s evolving policies, and I am more than willing to make any necessary adjustments to continue contributing to the platform in a positive way.
