I love Animorphs, and I consider the Hork-Bajir to be among my top ten in terms of fictional species.
So it should be no surprise that I would find myself in the Animorphs universe, with me having acquiring morphing abilities. I already shapeshift a lot, but in this universe, the shapeshifting is a lot more... nuanced.
It doesnt take long for me to find and acquire the DNA of a Hork-Bajir after visiting their settlement. I decide, ehh, why not set a timer, just in case...
The shift was incredible. I could feel my muscles growing, my body lengthening, the sharp, quick pinches all over my body as the sharp bladed protrusions sprout from my limbs and skull. None of it hurts, even though my body tells me it probably should. That's the pain tolerance of the Hork-Bajir at play I suppose.
As soon as I was almost fully changed, I set the two hour timer, eager to indulge in everything this body has to offer... but with the body, comes a slightly slower, plodding rate of thought. As I'm enjoying some tree bark, and feeling over my chest, and my serpentine neck, I hear a beeping, and feel a buzzing on my neck.
Oh, I guess I got swept up in my indulgence~ Oh well~
