New issue productions + After Dark issue

Hi guys!

I wanted to give you an update since a new production cycle has started! Mousenoises, the artist of "El Diablo", will be returning for at least two more issues, and we're going to be producing them in parallel. One is half the length of the other (3 vs. 6 pages), so you'd be getting a completed arc while waiting for the longer one to finish.

I'm very excited for those 2 issues, which are going to focus on Toby interacting separately with each of his parents so we can illustrate the differences in the type of relationship that Toby has with each of them. Both are touching and heartwarming (at least I've tried my best to write them that way), so prepare for those classic SL feels!

Now, onto the other topic... yes, there's an After Dark issue coming, from ITakeYourLemons. That can't be posted here because it contains explicit imagery, so it'll just be posted on Twitter only when it's completed. I'm sure the next question some of you have is - "why are you doing that? Isn't Sweet Leaves supposed to be wholesome and family-friendly?"

I wrestled with that question myself pretty heavily while I considered whether or not to pull the trigger on this. Ultimately, yes, SL focuses on family and is SFW, but it already contains adult language and content that I would argue doesn't make the comic "suitable" for all ages (I use quotes because I am referring to the story content, not the artwork specifically).

The After Dark issue isn't just flat out porn - only one of the four pages has explicit imagery, and before that, it's cute and romantic flirting and interaction between Sebastien and Colson. I wanted to have a short issue that shows their dynamic sans Toby or friends being present, and part of their relationship is sexual, so I decided I didn't want to shy away from showing that aspect of their relationship in a positive and loving way, which is how I endeavor to represent all relationships in the comic when sex isn't involved.

Don't worry - Sweet Leaves will still be 95% PG-13 rated. I have no intent to turn the series into an adults-only one. I don't even know if there will ever be another After Dark issue (I have none planned at the moment). Note that I cannot post the comic here when it's finished because this is not an adult-works Patreon, so it'll be on Twitter only. That being said, I will post the single page that is completed as of right now, since the guys are quite handsome and that's always worth showing!
