Protecting his savior (CW: Weapons, Peril)

A brief synopsis of this story is that Kali, while still human, got stuck indebted to the mob. During one of his indentured murder missions, his car crashes. Doctor Ven3, being a skilled surgical physician, tried her best to save his life when he was brought into the operating table, but he was too far gone to save... At least the human body was.
Ven3's quick thinking allowed her to use neural tools to pull every iota of intelligence, sentience, memory, and everything else that made him 'him' from his mind and implant it into a blank synthetic brain usually used for creating synths like herself. An hour later, a wolf shaped simulacrum awakens. He feels... more or less okay, but strange. Ven3 explains what happened, and shows his covered human self on a screen, showing from the morgue area. The wolf begs Ven3 to tell his 'employers' he was dead.
After initially fending them off, and telling said mobsters he had died in the crash, Kali begins to tell his story, only to have said mobsters break through the area. Before either has time to react, the security alarms go off, and the doors are broken open. The mobsters quickly get wind that Ven3 had saved Kali in a synthetic wolf body, and come to recollect their former employee. Kali quickly fends off the first with his newfound agility and grabs his gun, and after a few missed potshots from the mobsters, which catch the screen behind her, Kali gets in front of the synth who saved his life, eager to repay the debt and settle the score with his previous employers.
