Technically this is like... the 3rd one since several of the october reward prompts were used for Drawlloween since I liked your ideas better than mine, buuut I don't wanna screw up numbering so heeere we go.
This is a Golem. Specifically a Clay Golem.
Powerful creatures born of Kabbalistic mysticism, Golems are protectors crafted of clay and divine might. Though other methods have been used since to create similar golems using transmutation magic and the arcane arts, the first Golems were crafted using divine words of power, inscribed upon clay statues by Rabbis and other powerful divine sources.
Golems have been used by religious societies to protect themselves for a very long time, invoking the miracle of Adam's creation by the Progenitor and his by the Elder things by crafting something from nothing and instilling it with a protective spirit.
To create a golem through divine power one must build the body from it's various materials and then inscribe the Shem HaMephorash, or one of the names of god, into the golem or into a piece of parchment or tablet and place it within the golem to work as it's heart. This was later altered to inscribe אֱמֶת or Emet to the golem and invoking your divine belief and wish into it.
The more modern arcane golems tend to use arcane magic, along with alchemical combustion engines and other devices to run, but the classic clay golems still use mostly the same technology to this day.
Arcane golems follow set paths and instructions given to them by their creator, while divine golems follow the intent of their creator for a specific purpose.
Clay Golems may not be as sturdy and destructive as stone or iron golems, however, they have malleable forms, able to melt down into a puddle of clay and mud and rise back up again, cause enemies to stick into it, stretch it's limbs, slide on it's clay feet like ice skates, and generally hide well among other statues or in earthy environments.
Divine Golems are much more powerful, as they invoke the wrath of deific figures in the name of the creator. They unflinchingly protect those in communities or destroy their enemies with no hesitation. Divine Golems can use divine magic, casting spells on occasion and performing miracles, becoming invisible, and even being able to call fourth the spirits of the dead that followed the same religion, and invoke their knowledge and expertise, or allow them to possess clay constructs or interact with the world around it as they conspire against their foes or simply manipulate the world around the golem to allow it's deeds to be accomplished or empower it with divine might. Some Golems have even gradually grown larger and larger as they defeat enemies and grow.
Divine Golems may possess much extra power, however this means should they go berserk, they are a greater force to be reckoned with. These golems follow the will and intent of their creator, and should that will or intent falter or change, the golem's actions may alter as well, or the golem may become confused. The spirits it has summoned become trapped or begin vying for control over the construct and become mad, going on a destructive rampage and requiring the creator or other holy man to remove the final letter from it's inscription and causing it to die. This can be more easily said than done as the spirits will fight it and may keep the golem alive.
Golems can be crafted to look any way the creator would like, however as they do their divine work, often they may start changing in appearance or expression, and many divine Golems begin to gain contorted or wrathful faces. They may have too many teeth, beady realistic eyes, or gaping angry mouths that are more akin to that of gargoyles instead of a protector golem. In others one may hear a distant heartbeat or breathing, and some may even hear a muffled scream of terror or rage. Because of this, most golems these days are built with masks to hide if their face has become contorted and hideous.
The Golem of Prague may have befell this fate, as it is said to still be locked within the attic of the synagogue where it was created, never to be looked upon by anyone, however after a rabbi entered to witness it, he returned and said no one was to go up there. At least one witness said they had seen the golem as well, it's hand outstretched toward him and with it's mask removed, it's face hideously human and enraged beyond comprehension but frozen in time. These faces may mimic those of the nephilim, children born of God as horrid giants, yet crafted from clay like adam.....
Arcane golems are prone to going berserk after a time as well, and due to the materials used to craft them, occasionally the bio-material merged with the inanimate materials may begin to react and it may begin growing teeth, eyes, and internal organs. This is more common with alchemical golems, and usually the golem may just become confused and begin attacking.
On Earth Golems aren't used for the most part, though some kabalistic sects are still able to create them.
On Urth, Golems are much more widespread with many arcane societies employing them as both part of their armies and as workers across the planet. Divine Golems are created with specific abilities for each of the gods, and arcane golems are being improved and upgraded every day with iron and steam powered contraptions. Though classic golems aren't as popular as the alchemical or steam powered ones that are a bit more mechanical in nature, they are much more common and available.
This one however is attempting to help Victoria as it believes she is lost and it's swift approach seems to have caused the poor girl to run in terror XD.

This was a cool one. Golems are really fun and I'd never really drawn a baseline classic clay golem like this before. :3
