Today's prompt is Moon.....

These are Moon Hares, also known as Moon Bunnies, or Moon Rabbits, and are a type of Mogwai shown before.

The  fae exist all over the place, and while most people picture them in the  wind, in the trees, or at sea, they can be found even in more  inhospitable locations such as in volcanoes, or in the void of space.  The Moon Bunnies in particular are not there by their own volition  however, and instead are there to preside over the Jade Prison of  Kol'thogmo-lokk.

Long  ago a powerful eldritch creature had been at war with the Fae, and the  battle was long and well fought, but the creature was bested, cast into a  slumber and captured using aid from the Atlantean ascended lords, and  bound on the moon using ancient rituals and lost arts in the same way  lord Cthulhu's tomb was sealed, and a large portion of the moon was then  used as a prison for the Fae. Ever since there have been fae stationed  on the moon to protect the location and prevent creatures from ever  finding or freeing what lies within. These fae come in many forms, but  the ones whom have stood the most diligent are the Moon Hares.

Like  all Fae, Moon Hares come in various forms. The most common types of  Moon hare, simply called Moon Hare,  stand about 4-5 feet tall, and are  lanky punny creatures wearing a large ruff. They have large,  disconcerting humanoid dyes and no mouths unless they force one into  being. They look very rabbit like, but their skin is soft and white and  possesses no fur, but only a soft, silicone or gummy bear like squishy  texture. These moon hare are guards and work to prevent anything that  finds it's self on the moon from approaching the moon prison, but are  also among the most common creatures spotted on the moon by high powered  telescopes or satellite cameras. These strange rabbit creatures can  blend in on any surface by taking on the same texture and color as it,  in the same way as an octopus can, and they can also leap great  distances, as they are able to cover several hundred feet when leaping  on land and up to 5 miles when leaping on the moon. Their forms are  somewhat amorphous, and they can turn their bodies around instantly by  shifting their limbs, mouths, eyes, ears, tail, ect to face in different  directions and allow them to basically be as malleable as clay in some  situations. Their mouths extend out of their heads on retractable jaws,  and their eyes are constantly shifting in color, which they can use to  look into the eyes of a creature and hypnotize them, as well as incite  madness in those who see the eyes for too long. They carry mallets with  them to pound mochi and moon cakes, and use their magic to create  mixtures of immortality to use in bartering with other races, though it  seems they also use these materials themselves as well, eating an  abundance of mochi and immortality elixir to potentially keep themselves  so malleable.

These rabbits  make up the grand majority of the moon bunnies, and work as guards and  knights on the moon. These are also the types of moon hare that will  come to earth in search of humans or other things to drag back to the  moon for rituals or for fun. Some of these Moon hares will grow large  enough from much larger creatures wearing robes known as a Lunar  Viceroy. These moon bunnies are much the same, but stand 8 feet tall and  are much more physically capable. Their insanity eyes can be projected  at a distance and can fire an insanity beam from them at their foes.  Moon Hare Viceroys also know a bit of moon magic, and are well versed  with illusion and confusion magic.

These  kinds of moon rabbit also follow the commands of the Mogwai, and based  on their squishy, mochi like bodies, may be constructs created by them  to follow orders and protect locations for them.

Finally  is a Bunnygirl. Bunnygirls are cute and very small humanoids, appearing  as tiny girls with big bunny ears and teeth, but also large, cute, yet  slightly off center eyes and haunting expressions. Sometimes known as  Bunny Princesses, Bunny Duchess, and other similar royal names, they are  spoken of as rabbit royalty. Bunny Princesses work as cute and  unassuming young girls in mysterious locations, who use their insanity  eyes to cause moon madness in those that look in their eyes for long  enough. They are known for luring humans into places, often times so  that other Moon bunnies can eat them, and they have even been known to  bring a human to a tea party or other cute get together where every  other attendant is a bunny girl. Despite their tiny stature and cute  appearance, they can be just as malleable as the hares and they can also  open and extend their jaws out of their mouth, and their claws are  incredibly sharp.

The moon  bunnies are most often on the moon, while the Mogwai appear here and  there on earth or otherwise. They can still slip into the Fae realms and  go elsewhere, and often times they ride literal moonbeams down to Earth  to collect supplies. No one is sure exactly why they kidnap humans to  the moon, however it may be a part of a ritualistic sacrifice to keep  the Moon prisoner behind bars, or simply out of revenge to humans....
