How to HOME Transfer (Tutorial)

PLEASE DO NOT BOOT OTHERS OFF OF THE ACCOUNT! IF SOMEONE IS USING THE ACCOUNT, PLEASE ALLOW THEM TIME TO GET THE POKEMON THEY WANT. PEASE READ THIS TUTORIAL TO THE END AND FOLLOW THE LISTED RULES ON BOTTOM! THANK YOU!

Step 1: Turn on your Nintendo Switch.
Step 2: From the HOME screen, double tap your System Settings wheel.
Step 3: Scroll down until you see Users.
Step 4: Navigate to Add User and press A.
Step 5: Click Create New User
Step 6:  Choose literally any icon and give it a random name (you'll see why in a moment)
Step 7: Click OK and then click Link a Nintendo Account.
Step 8: When prompted, click Sign in using an e-mail address or sign-in ID
Step 9: Using the credentials given in the Discord Server, link the Nintendo Account.
Step 10: The new account will ask for a 2FA code, please ping me in this channel and tell me which account you need the code for.

Transfer Instructions

Step 1: Open Pokemon HOME with your tier's Patreon account. (NOT w/ YOUR ACCOUNT!)
Step 2: Follow through all steps and click No in response to if you're using on mobile.
Step 3: Click on Pokemon
Step 4: Push Up on the D-Pad to highlight the current user.
Step 5: When prompted to check a different user's save data, click Yes.
Step 6: Select YOUR Nintendo Account.
Step 7: Push Down on the D-Pad and select either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield.
Step 8: Click Yes and start moving the Pokemon you want over into your game!
Step 9: Press + and click Save changes and exit.

You can now open the game you transferred them to and use them in-game! Congrats!

SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:

Nintendo only allow one person to be on a single HOME account at one time. So if HOME isn't letting you on, DO NOT KICK THE OTHER PERSON! Just be patient and let them quickly get the Pokemon they want!

Please be kind and courteous when taking Pokemon! This means, do not take every Pokemon from every box! We typically refill on an as-needed basis, so leave some for everyone else!

ILLEGAL POKEMON CANNOT BE USE IN ONLINE GAMEPLAY! PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT!
