And its hero, the Conqueror Worm.”

Though the grotesque things that spawn from the flesh mother are always horrific writhing beasts made of intestinal flesh and globules of thick fat, gristle, and teeth, few have the reputation that the conqueror worm possesses.

An incredibly rare form of Gutworm, also known as an avatar of the Fleshmother, the conqueror worm is a gutworm that achieves such a massive size through feasting on cities of flesh and incorporating them back into itself in the name of the unholy flesh. Massive and comprised of a foreskin made of the skins of animals, some of them still recognizable and others melded into the nightmarish tapestry of skin that encompasses the beast with only massive pendulous and rancid breasts and heaving stomachs packed with wriggling young standing out on it’s mottled skin. It’s form mutates and grows, as large gutworms of all sizes symbiotically live along the body of the Conqueror worm, occasionally dropped off and birthed unto the world, and it begins growing additional faces, limbs and tendrils for locomotion as it’s bloated body comes together. Some don’t even look like worms anymore due to their bloated form made of scraps, but they always seem to generally take on bovine or porcine features as they grow.

Said to be the closest creatures resembling the fleshmother, the Conqueror worm inspires madness in those that see it. It is said that the fleshmother is the Conqueror worm itself and that when the creatures reach this size it is simply a manifestation of the will of the flesh, just as Humbaba, Ishtar, Anu, Gugalanna the Bull of heaven,  The Erymanthian Boar, The Babi ngepet, The Saehrimnir, and some other entities that have been recorded in myth and legend may have been, and that maybe the Conqueror worm is a consort of sorts to the fleshmother, born of her flesh and to return once more.

The Conqueror worm is the last entity to appear on a doomed planet  subject to be consumed by the flesh. At this point the corruption of the flesh has seeped into the entire planet and those who remain are fleeing and hiding in various bunkers or safe zones topside, attempting to evade the ever growing meat. Once it has gained enough strength it will burrow into the center of the planet and fertalize the core as a sperm would an egg, and the fleshmother will be reborn from within the planet, transforming and transmuting the various minerals and stones of the planet into her bloated, rancid flesh.

Rarely the Conqueror worm can be seen beyond this situation, though it may be witnessed in the fleshwastes of the realms of madness, or occasionally through dreams and visions, which was most likely the case for famous poet Edgar Allen Poe, who wrote the above excerpt that matches horrifyingly with the appearance of the Conqueror worm according to alternative history scholars and occult historians of a battle between the celestials, the beings of flesh, and mankind in which the flesh was defeated. Like with other terribly powerful creatures, it can lurk in the dreams of man and incite great and terrible things within their minds, often pushing them to gluttony or to inflict gluttonous torture on others in the name of the fleshmother.
