1st: A  young professor being awaken to the cosmic/eldrich horror of her surroundings due her thesis on the occult and getting the wrong book(a necronomicon)

A young student at Miskatonic University has been attempting to contact her professor after she had been doing some independent research with her on the relations between human and horse DNA after archaeologists discovered strange remains in the Arcadian mountains that seemed to be a missing link between horses and an offshoot horse like humanoid. After going on summer break, the student returned having been unable to contact her professor for quite some time, worried from the strange messages that she had been left. Strange ramblings about ancient runes, twisted faces, and of the Kentauros. When she went to her home she found the door was open and called the police, but decided to sneak inside to try and make sure her professor was doing alright. Inside she came across hideous research of human transmutation, and was unaware of what was lurking in the dark with her....

There are many horrific situations that can take place in the world, and many ancient ties to creatures that we cannot easily comprehend. However human genetic ties to various animals are always a bit closer than you think, and through ritual magic and eldritch intervention, many terrible things can become of a person, leading down a path of devolution. 

Though most who suffer at the hands of devolution magic, some may influence these changes from times when man and woman were more compatible with other beasts in the land,and through this unholy union you achieve a brand of Centaur unlike what one usually pictures upon hearing the word. Though there are quite a few kinds of Tauric creature including the Minotaur, Centaur, Ipotane, the Hippopodes, the Hippocephale, the Lapiths, the Sagittarius, and the Onnocentaur. Most centaurs come from IIxion, a Nephilim who bred with horses and humans in the mountains, as well as with the Nightmare in Heat Ialthos, and the offspring came to be terrible and horrifying entities, the centaurs.

Like Ghouls, creatures with centaur DNA from ancient times can occasionally begin to revert and become horrid creature you see here, just as with various reversions to become nephilim that humans occasionaly undergo.

Centaurs are ugly horse people that are adept hunters and often times feed on human flesh. They are almost always hostile to humans and come in various forms which display ugly characteristics of human and horse. These ones are known as centaurs, or Ixionidae, and share a lot of similarities with the Nephilim including their healing factor and their craving for the flesh of man...

I'll post more about Centaurs in the future when I share some other types of Centaur, but for now, I hope you enjoy this one.
