Your version of a Yara-ma-yha-who, if you have not already done it and I forgot.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a Yara Ma Yha Who, also known as a Creeping Maw, a Blood Leaper, Leachfingers, or as Crimson Daywalkers.
Stemming from aboriginal folklore, the Yara ma yha who is a small, frog like vampiric entity. It possesses a massive head and a large mouth and it's fingers are like leeches, tipped in violent, biting and sucking mouths. They have powerful legs like a frog, and a mouth large enough to swallow most humans whole, with their neck extending and folding into their bodies not unlike that of a turtle.
The Yara ma yha who is roughly 4-5 feet tall when squatting. Though it never stands at it's full height for long periods and tends to do so only for intimidation or when searching for something. It's nose and eyesight are extremely acute, and so it's telescopic neck is useful for spotting creatures. Yara ma yha who's, when they capture a creature, they descend upon it and bite it to try and disable it, but also attach the leeches to the creature and begin draining blood. Once the creature has been drained, the Yara ma yha who swallows it whole and then regurgitates it along with a strange substance that surrounds the creature like a reddened foreskin. It continuously sucks the creature back into it's mouth and regurgitates it, with the fleshy skin becoming similar to an amniotic sac surrounding the creature, until finally it gets vomited out as a cocoon like sac. After several weeks, the creature will emerge from the sac as a new Yara ma yha who and continue the cycle anew.
Yara ma Yha who are strange vampires that live in small secluded tribes, often times living in trees. They have limited intelligence, reverting back to a more primitive state, though they still know enough to form small societies. Many times Yara ma Yha who are initially created through vampiric rituals, as they do not possess the weaknesses of other vampires and are not nocturnal, but instead only attack during the day when the sun is out. As such vampires occasionally transform people into Yara ma Yha Who to utilize them as soldiers in their armies. Mandurugo can naturally give birth to Yara Ma Yha Who, and as such they tend to be seen with them the most of all vampire types.
Though many are tribalistic, there are still some Yara ma yha who that are fairly intelligent, and even in their minimalist societies they practice divine magic forms through worship of the ungermaw and form societies and hunting bands in far flung locations. On occasion one may grow much larger than a normal member of it's species, and when it does it often assumes role as leader or protector of it's clan, and some extremely powerful Yara ma Yha who can even learn several blood sorceries or dabble in other various magics pertaining to blood invigoration. On occasion some animals are effected by the Yara ma yha who process and transformed into hideous vampiric animal beasts, the most popular of which is known as the Drop Bear...
On Earth they are very few and far between, though some do still lurk in small numbers in underground locations or in large open areas in the australian and african wilderness, though they tend to be fairly distant from many other creatures and interaction with humans is unlikely these days. On Urth however, they are still rare but occasionally seen in vampire hunting parties, attacking creatures in broad daylight and kidnapping them away to the vampire nests for feeding.....
