A sort of kingdom similar to Alice on the Wonderland, except that it is linked to kinks and that if the people who visit there do not pay attention, they will die by one of the kinks and will for example become prisoner of this kingdom in becoming one of those inhabitants of this place....

There was a lot to this idea, and I absolutely loved it, but I also didn't have time to delve into something like that, so I decided to do two things with it... Draw a cute, super round Alice... and also draw up a Dream Larvae.....
Dream Larvae, also known as Mindworms, Brainlurks, Space Worms, or Caterpillar lords, are EXTREMELY powerful Fae that live within the Tulgeywoods area of Wonderland in the Dreamlands. On occasion one may find one lurking elsewhere, but their enormous forms are more likely than not found in the woods. Dream Larvae are just what their name explains them as, a Larva that forms in a dream and burrows into the mind of a creature. The Larva feed on dreams like a caterpillar feeds. In doing so it consumes concepts and ideas, thoughts and feelings. These creatures exist within a creature's subconscious and often times they eat themselves out of the dream after existing within a creature's mind for an extended period. Creatures in a coma often times never leave or are stuck there even if they recover if a Dream Larva has set up shop within their mindscape.
Dream Larvae have no physical form and they are purely theoretical in nature. They hide in your mind, taking the shape of various creatures in your dreams and leading you in directions it wishes to go, or even appearing as some magic and all powerful entity. Some are the figureheads of cults to sleep, and they sometimes get their victims to take too many sleeping pills and fall into a death sleep where they can't escape from the Dream Larvae. Sometimes they may give information or be friendly, but they will always take something from you and cause a bit of confusion. Over time creatures afflicted may begin showing signs of Amnesia, Dementia, Alzheimers, Schizophrenia, DID, or Depression. Dream Larva can move from one creature's dream to another if the creature is in close proximity. It can, and often does cause them to go insane, and the more people who's dreams it eats, the stronger it gets and the more it can influence things. They often times distract you in your mind with good times and illicit substances that you experience as if you were taking them in the real world.
After a short time, Dream Larvae can begin manipulating the real world through the creature, or while a creature sleeps, using it's dreams almost like a portal of sorts, and sometimes they even drag other creatures into the dreamlands physically. Dream Larvae can manifest outside of dreams through thoughts and subconscious, with ideas flowing from your mind to manifest into reality. Such as a fear of it being in your closet leading to it hiding there, however even when it is, it truly is not. The Dream Larvae excel at manifesting themselves as a form that a creature fears, and causing so much fear that a creature may drop dead from the sight of it. Multiple creatures can simultaneously view the Larvae as a different creature or in a different form, and it is truly that form for all of them, existing between realities and projecting itself however it's needed.
As it's name implies, Dream Larvae are just larvae, and even though they are horribly powerful and dangerous beings that can rest in a creature's minds for thousands of years, they aim to cocoon themselves so they may metamorphose into something else. They emerge from the dreams and cocoon themselves into reality, waiting to be reborn through a rift in existence. Even as a Dream Pupa they can interact with creatures on a psychic level. Some begin to manifest into the real world from the dreamlands and cause creatures to dream of their slumber and of locations in far off dangerous location, or hiding right under their nose in an ancient place, new but that has always been. It's not known what they may become, but knowing their powerful reality altering capabilities before they transform, they could potentially emerge from the collective consciousness of every creature that it fed off of and be born as a new reality entirely. Some say they become Dream Butterflies or Dream Moths, while others claim they become cicadas, Flies, or wasps, and that their birth inverts realities and punishes man for their dreams, casting them into nightmares. The Dream Imago exist, and some are said to live within the dreamlands while others claim that the Dreamlands are simply the mind of a Dream Imago spawned from the first Dream Larvae that had appeared on the first world, of THE Dream Imago that was born from it, and that we simply use the Dreamlands like a highway too and from locations, and that maybe one day it will awake and the dreamlands will cease to be. Others claim that with their birth a new reality is born adjacent to our own where it resides, and that they use these to spread and grow the First world.
Though horrifying, they know quite a bit from consuming thoughts and concepts, and are quite nice to speak to within dreams and thoughts. They are very philosophical and enjoy arguments and discussions, and often times participate in silly actions while blending in within a creature's mind.

I've had a design for this thing for years and I've actually doodled it a few times and painted a small one once for art class. One day I'll draw it's next evolution! I should really do a full body pic so you can see it's weird legs, but for now, just enjoy Alice and her buddy Absolom the Dram Larvae, totally not infesting her mind and making her forget. Did she just eat the cake? Or drink the potion? I she supposed to grow or shrink now?
Oh bother...
That cake does look good though...
More pics are comin soon for this month within the next week or so! Happy Halloween for now! I'll post November's prompt soon, even if not all of October's posts are up yet.
