How about scary looking clowns acting more weird than scary

It's been a while since I've drawn Nightmare Clowns.... as in the clown creatures that are a manifestation of people's fear of clowns that live in the dreamlands...

This isn't a new monster for the most part, but here's the old lore for them, along with a new bit at the end.

Nightmare Clowns are horrible creatures that come from the realm of  nightmares, a portion of the DreamLands where the realm of madness and  Hell overlap like a ven diagram, pincering the Dreamlands in between  like a cruel Vice. Here beings of madness, alien entities of  indescribable horror and cruel devils wander the twisted black wastes  feeding on the life force of those who dream unwaking in those realms.  If ever dreaming and you find yourself in a strange land, try your best  to never awake as the creature is still holding on to you, as it may  pull it through to your world.

Nightmare  clowns are evil entities that take the form of clowns. They usually take  the form of a somewhat off looking clown with exaggerated proportions  or tiny eyes and huge mouths, though they can also shape shift into  relatively normal looking creatures as well. These clowns will play  nicely with you and perform silly acts to make you laugh, as laughter  and screaming are noises the clown can use to mimic your voice, and also  because it enjoys tormenting creatures before it kills them, and  usually leaves them laughing as it drains away their sanity and eats  their flesh.

Nightmare clowns can possess  multiple arms and legs, and possess the ability to regrow limbs, control  them at a distance if removed, stretch their body, and even split off  multiple other clowns from their body in a process called "Budding"  similar to a tree. Basically they have all of the same powers as a  Shoggoth. They can also shine a mesmerizing light from their eyes that  can hypnotize their prey similar to a Vampire.

Nightmare  clowns also have the horrifying ability to teleport while not being  observed. So if you see one and lose sight of it, chances are it will be  somewhere else, but often times hot on your trail. They enjoy  teleporting to confined or dark spaces such as closets or under beds.

Nightmare  clowns seem to possess a childlike intelligence and animalistic  tendencies, though some can learn and easily mimic humans and show a  cunning intellect that makes their wicked nature even more terrifying.

It's  unknown why Nightmare Clowns target mostly children. It may be because  of a heightened sense of fear and trust from children, but it's also  theorized that they can transform children into clowns like themselves.

Those that possess the cunning intellect are sometimes known as Ringmasters (The guy with the fat pink head). Ringmasters will often gather other Nightmare clowns and other nightmarish creatures and organize them into groups to hunt down large groups of creatures, and often times they have ways to leave the dreamlands despite being a living nightmare, making them just as horrifying in the real world as they are in the dreamlands. On occasion one will go on a murderous spree across earth, leaving behind mysterious dead bodies in horrific cartoonish ways such as being inflated until they pop or being crushed by an anvil, or shocked to death by a joy buzzer....
