I super enjoyed this month's hangout stream! Thanks to everyone who came and played some Jackbox with me! I had a blast! I need to use that pink hair in a set sometime.
In other news, I filmed a little Youtube video tutorial on finding your feminine voice! Once I've spent some time in the editing dungeon I'll post it, probably next week! :)
I need to ask for the opinions of my Sugarplums. So far in the last 3 votes the newest set has been picked and Yoga Bunny and Jazz singer have continuously rolled over. I really want to keep things fresh and roll through the content as my skills are changing and improving all the time and I feel that having sets continuously on the vote for 6 or more weeks makes them a little redundant. Also, with the time available to me it's very difficult for me to get far enough ahead with sets that I can afford to just drop one or two for a while if they're unpopular. The way things are now those sets are just getting edged out by the new one each time- so I don't have a reason to believe that you don't want to see them. At the same time I'm really stoked about releasing them as I'm proud of them and I'm dead certain you'll enjoy them.
I feel that I need to give these sets a little bit of a better chance, and I think the best way forward (in the case that two sets go unpicked for like 3 different votes) I could reduce the options for one poll to those two just to keep things from getting stale. On the one hand, yes, I'll be reducing the options to two for one poll, but for the next vote there'll be two brand new sets in there to choose from. I think that strikes the right balance between respecting your choices and also keeping the slightly less popular content from stagnating things in the future. I think it's also a little more exciting to see new stuff than it is to see the same stuff all the time and new stuff be at a trickle.
TL,DR: I need to find a way to stop the polls from stagnating with almost the similar choices every time so if we run into a rut like that I'd like to run 1 poll with 2 options to keep things rolling. Then the next poll will have more refreshing new possibilities.

2019-02-18 18:26:50 +0000 UTCI'm playing with the idea of picking a block of sets (say 4) and voting on 4, then the 3 that remain, then 2, then releasing the last one without a vote. That way there's a clear system, 3 polls per 4 sets, and there would be guaranteed a brand new collection every 8 weeks or so. How does this sound?

As Sylvia said, there’ll be opportunities to get new stuff made and voted in in the future; if you’ve got stuff that’s ready to go now and you’re really proud of it, then why not give people that extra nudge/opportunity to vote for it?! 😊

I'm just trying to balance the way things are voted for and how long it takes for something to be released. I'm super glad you like the idea of that set, I'm really proud of it :D xx
