Why did you start playing guitar? When I first decided I was going to learn guitar, I had a vision in my mind. I pictured someone who could pick up the instrument anytime, anywhere and just play. It's kinda like having a conversation with your best friend. You don't think about what to say, it just flows. The equivalent to speaking a language fluently is improvising freely on guitar. Any song, any key, any tempo. Pro improvisers could literally jump onstage with a band they've never played with and make music
⭐️ The other day a patron asked me for a lesson on how to Improvise. Ask and ye shall receive! Look for a "3 Levels Of Improvisation" lesson dropping this week. It's going to cover how to develop a bag of licks, using the circle of 5ths, connecting to the rhythm, outlining chords and much more! Now here's the thing....I need your feedback to make this lesson good. Put your suggestions and struggles when it comes to improv below. What unique challenges are you facing and what would you like to see me address?
