May 2025 Status Update

Well, it's been a long month being quiet, but I'm back now!

For now lol

First off, a huge thank you to all the well wishers and patrons telling me to look after myself, I really appreciate it, and it did help me mentally to read those messages.

Long story short, it's gonna be a much longer time for me to really recover, or at least I've come to the unfortunate realization that what I've been doing is...basically unsustainable for me as is.

So I'm gonna continue working, but with a lot more downtime than before. Hell, if it wasn't for some obligations this month I'd probably still be taking it off for more time to recover!

That said, some things will remain constant, like December and July remaining off months, mostly for the same reasons as before, i.e. IRL things. By that measure, of course, yall know damn well I will 100% be open for business in October, because Halloween is the best time of the year for artists 8D

I'm sorry other holidays, yall just aren't as cool :v

I do regret missing out on April tho, bunnygirls are always peak...but anyway, most other months are gonna be on a case by case basis, but generally I will try to stick to one month on, one month off, with lots of advance notice to everyone involved. Patreon allowing me to pause means at the very least yall are at no risk of losing your slot or being overcharged, so that's one less thing to worry about!

In light of all this though, a few other changes are going to be made, primarily regarding my workload and what I do on Patreon going forward, specifically regarding the amount of it I do.

So, first and foremost: Effective immediately, I'm retiring the $75 sketch sequences tier.

It's continued to become more trouble than it's worth, and definitely way more work than fun when I'm doing them. So, in the same way I retired the original highest tier for similar reasons, I'm now fully out of the sequences business, aside for my own personal projects or enjoyment.

With that out of the way, the only commissions/request work I'll be taking will be:

$100: full color pics (10 slots)
$50: sketches/lineart (10 slots)

And both of these will have access to a huge array of YCH/template stuff based on all my older work, in addition to newer stuff, all available via an archive link provided on the Discord for members.

Other than that, no changes anywhere else! I'm pretty confident that between this streamlining and the reduced work months, it should go a long way to giving me time to properly recover from the stress and burnout.

The next steps will be working on polls, cuz I really want to do something with that to make it more accessible even to lower tiers like the $5 one, since yall deserve to get some stuff too!

And finally, struggling through April with my mental and physical health was hard enough, with some days better than others...and then, if you're a vtuber enjoyer, oh boy you know exactly what I'm talking about orz
