April 2025 Status Update

Alright, April Fools is over, the coast is now clear for me to make actual posts again lol

So as I'm sure yall might have been notified by Patreon, this month's billing has been paused.

This is mostly due to me, after two extremely rough weeks, a lot of introspection, and agonizing about it basically right up to the last minute on the 31st, I decided to break a lot of my own rules and traditions, and cancel work for this month due to mental and physical health reasons.

Won't really go into it beyond that, but aside from my endless struggles with burnout over the amount of work I do every month at the speed I do it, I realized I'm at a point where I straight up don't have the energy or inspiration to draw stuff for myself anymore in my free time. So that, coupled with the fact that I decided it was better to act now before something else broke internally, I decided to skip this month for Patreon. I'll be back up and running for May, but in future there's a real possibility I take more time off like this at random points when it gets to be too much.

I can't really stop Patreon, since yknow, I need to earn a living, but for a bit it's likely that I'll try to operate at a bit of a reduced power level lol

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say, apologies for the delay in getting this message out, really didn't wanna deal with April 1 shenanigans, so I sent it today instead XD

Yall shouldn't get charged for this month, all your spots will be held, and we'll pick back up in May!
