February 2025 Status Update

HELLOOOOOOOO EVERYONEEEEEEEE

Apologies for another late update (I usually post on the 1st) but it's been a busy (and stressful) start to the month, no thanks to Patreon for giving me extreme anxiety to see if they'd start paying me correctly again. Thanks to the new garbage system they implemented for pausing billing, I went from no pay in December, because it's my break month, to like, half or less for all of January.

Hasn't been a great time.

Add to that February processing payments but not actually displaying that February had even STARTED billing yet and boy was yesterday stressful lol

Anyway, negatives aside, things seem to be back on track again, at least until my next break in July, so we'll see if anything I learned from this will actually help.

Anyway yeah, so in celebration I'm gonna try to be as self indulgent as possible with the requests I take on, and just try to have a bit more fun with things. What does that entail? Idk, probably more mecha and monsters, no idea yet.

As per usual, I'll be officially sending out my request emails on the 5th, as well as publishing the new February poll.

I actually got a good few cool sfw-ish jobs last month that I was able to show off WIPs and stuff to a wider part of my friend and art circle too, so that felt pretty cool. Also did a bunch of practice pieces I can maybe use for templates, as anyone on the discord probably knows...and finally, Marvel Rivals is still pretty good! Still enjoying that game, but took a slight detour to stream my way through Primordia again for some new friends like 5 years later, and also decided to go revisit my childhood in Starcaft 1.

MAN did Blizzard lose the sauce over the years smh. Riot is definitely a leader in the field of losing sauce, but boy does Blizz give them a run for their money...

Anyway, think that just about covers it, thank you all so much for sticking with me through the last month of things going wrong, looking forward to things getting back to normal again!
