Honestly I think this page summarizes a lot of what I like about this project: The opportunity to make jokes like these.
Seriously those first four panels crack me up everytime. I could literally just make a meme out of panel 4 alone lol
Well, that, and also the opportunity to do a LOT of expression work.
And yes, Waddledee is as always, so done with everyone's shit XD
The back and forth between MK desperately backpedaling and Bowsette intensifying is a, I guess, trope? That I absolutely love but just never really got a chance to put into practice. Also it's a fun challenge trying to get various expressions out of a fundamentally expressionless character like MK, what with his mask and all.
