As promised, here's page 2!

...and it was at this point things got slightly out of hand because somehow without meaning to the art quality went from basica sketch to detailing, heavy lines, dramatic effects and more.

Meta Knight and Halberd can definitely bring the EXTRA it seems...also the Super Robot Wars T announcement and CAPTAIN HARLOCK hype came out around this time too, so that may have influenced me a wee bit.

Also I just really love battleships and the Halberd has ALWAYS been one of my top faves...and I'm really tired of it jobbing in literally every appearance ever D:

That said it was a real challenge getting it done here, especially in a way that would show off it's arrival.

Not to mention Metaknight himself, who's definitely not the kind of character shape I'm used to drawing. Fortunately, Kirby designs are surprisingly simple once you get the hang of them, and pretty effective too. I'd been dabbling in it before like with that Susie pic I did a few weeks back, so it was kinda nice to put more of that into practice.

Making the ship's wheel work with that on the other hand, took some doing, since I had to make it fit his hand width, have spokes at the right spots, and STILL not cover his face. I like to think it worked though!
