It's me, Lyk4n. Today I have something to share with you all. As many of you may know from the last update, My Real Desire's journey is nearing its end. Looking back, it's been about four years. I still can't believe that this day has come. The past four years have been full of ups and downs, happy times and hard times. I would like to thank all the fans, especially my supporters, who have been a huge part of what makes the game what it is today. I sincerely appreciate you all.
My Real Desire is the second game I've worked on with full intention (not counting Peaceful Life, which was the first game I didn't really think much about before making it). I know my game is far from perfect; there are still many things I need to improve. My English is also not that good, but it is a medium that allows me to express my imagination, so I really love it. I know many people are hoping for a sequel to My Real Desire. However, all good things must come to an end. I'm sorry to inform you that there will be no sequel.
The next game, Myth of Slayer, that I am working on will have absolutely no connection to the My Real Desire universe. If there are any similarities, it is just a coincidence. I hope you're going to like it.
Finally, I would like to inform you that I will be changing my name to something new. The reason for this change is that my name is similar to another developer's, and he came first. At first, I didn't think much of it, but over the past four years, there have been a few times when people have misspelled my name or confused me with another developer. So, as My Real Desire is coming to an end and a new game is coming up, I would like to take this opportunity to change my name from Lyk4n to Oldcat, and I will also change the tier name and supporter benefits at the same time.

2024-10-06 08:26:54 +0000 UTCI have mixed feelings about English that's "not that good". On one hand I know I could suggest changes, correct the use of idioms, and improve grammar as an editor would. On the other hand when your text is different from what a native English speaker would say it teaches me interesting things about your native language and the culture of your home nation. Consider the idea of taking responsibility for someone having feelings about you. If someone had a crush on you we would not see that as anything you're responsible for. Only if you got them pregnant would they be asking you to "take responsibility" for it. They would be interested in whether you reciprocated their feelings and they would expect you to be honest with them and not lie about your feelings to get sex or other benefits. But they would not believe you were in any way obligated to have feelings for them until you had married them or otherwise pledged to do so. Neither culture is right or wrong, it's just an interesting difference. You should not be too concerned about your English. Sometimes your grammar needs small corrections, which is what editors are for, but the way you say things and your cultural point of view is interesting, and we do understand your meaning which is the main goal.
