Jordan had no idea what he was walking into when his best friend, Emily, called him over to her place with an urgent request. “I need a huge favor,” she said. “It’s a fashion emergency.”

Jordan wasn’t exactly the fashion-savvy type, but Emily always found ways to drag him into her world. “Can’t you just call one of your girlfriends?” he asked as he stepped inside.

Emily grinned. “Oh, trust me, they’ll be involved soon enough. But I need you for something specific.” She pointed to a bright pink outfit laid out on the couch—leather pants and a barely-there knit top that looked more like a bikini. “You’re gonna be my model.”

Jordan blinked. “No way. That’s not happening.”

Emily crossed her arms. “Come on, you lost the bet last weekend, remember? This is your punishment. One outfit, one photoshoot. Then we’re even.”

He sighed, knowing there was no escape. “Fine. One outfit. But no pictures.”

Emily smirked. “Deal.”

Minutes later, Jordan stood in front of the mirror, tugging awkwardly at the pink top that barely covered his chest. The leather pants were snug—too snug—and every step made them creak embarrassingly. His face burned with humiliation. “I look ridiculous!”

Emily stifled a laugh. “No, you look fabulous. Trust me, you could totally pass for an influencer with the right touches.”

Before he could protest, Emily started applying makeup—foundation, highlighter, a touch of blush, and pink lip gloss to match the outfit. His short hair was hidden under a platinum-blonde wig, and with each passing second, Jordan felt himself becoming someone completely different.

“I feel like a Barbie doll,” he muttered.

“Exactly!” Emily beamed. “And now for the final touch…” She handed him a pink purse. “Accessories make the look.”

Jordan looked at the purse, then back at her. “Is this really necessary?”

“Absolutely.”

Just when he thought things couldn’t get worse, Emily’s friends burst into the apartment—Megan and Tori, both dressed to the nines. Their eyes widened when they saw Jordan.

“Oh. My. God,” Megan said, covering her mouth. “Who’s this?”

Tori grinned. “I didn’t know you had another friend, Emily. She’s gorgeous!”

Jordan waved his hands frantically. “It’s me! Jordan!”

The room fell silent for a moment before all three girls burst into laughter. “No way,” Tori said, circling him. “You look completely different!”

“Seriously, you’re pulling this off,” Megan added. “We should take you out like this.”

Jordan shook his head. “No chance.”

But Emily wasn’t about to let him off the hook. “Come on, it’ll be fun! Just one quick trip to the lounge downstairs.”

“No way—”

“Unless,” Megan said, holding up her phone, “you’d rather we post this little photoshoot on Instagram?”

Jordan froze. “You wouldn’t.”

“Oh, we would,” Emily said, grinning. “Now grab your purse, and let’s go.”

Minutes later, Jordan found himself in the lounge, doing everything he could to avoid eye contact with the other patrons. The sound of his heels clicking against the floor felt deafening, and the leather pants were so tight he could barely sit without shifting awkwardly.

The girls ordered drinks, laughing and chatting like it was just another girls’ night out. Jordan tried to blend in, but every now and then, someone would glance in his direction, raising an eyebrow or flashing a knowing smile.

“You’re doing great,” Emily whispered. “Just relax.”

Jordan leaned in. “Relax? I’m wearing pink leather pants and a wig in public!”

“That’s the spirit,” Tori said, clinking her glass against his. “Here’s to new experiences!”

As the night went on, Jordan couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. The initial embarrassment slowly faded, and for a moment, he found himself almost enjoying the attention. Still, he made a mental note: Never bet against Emily again.

“Well, Jordan,” Emily said as they headed back to the apartment, “I think you’ve found your new look.”

“Don’t get used to it,” he muttered, though a small smile played at the corner of his lips.
