He looked like a dainty, girly princess.
Jake’s hands shook as he touched his face, disbelief washing over him. This couldn’t be real. He had to be dreaming.
"Emma, turn me back!" he pleaded, tears welling up in his eyes as he turned to face her. "This isn’t funny anymore!"
Emma crossed her arms and stared at him, her expression unreadable. "You wanted to make jokes at my expense, Jake. Now, how does it feel to be on the other side?"
"I’m sorry, okay? Just... turn me back," he begged, his voice trembling.
Emma’s gaze softened slightly, but there was a hardness in her eyes that Jake had never seen before. "The process is permanent, Jake."
His heart dropped. "What? No, it can’t be!"
Emma nodded. "The auto-closet is a one-way transformation. It’s designed to be irreversible—an ultimate commitment to change."
Jake’s knees buckled, and he sank to the floor, his mind reeling. He was trapped like this—trapped in a body that wasn’t his, forced to live as someone he didn’t recognize.
Emma knelt beside him, her tone softer now. "Maybe now you’ll think twice before you humiliate someone you care about. This isn’t just about looks, Jake. It’s about respect."
Jake looked up at her, his eyes filled with despair. He knew he had messed up, and now he was paying the price. But no amount of regret could change what had been done.
The days that followed were a blur for Jake. He was forced to adapt to his new reality, every movement reminding him of what he had lost. His voice was higher, his mannerisms softer, and everywhere he went, people saw him as a delicate, beautiful woman.
Emma helped him adjust, but their relationship had shifted. The dynamic had changed, and Jake couldn’t shake the feeling of vulnerability and helplessness that now defined his life.
He hated every moment of it—the stares, the assumptions, the way people treated him like he was fragile. But most of all, he hated himself for how he had treated Emma. He had been so blind to his own arrogance, and now, he was living the consequences.
As time passed, Jake realized that there was no escape. The auto-closet had done its job, and he was left to pick up the pieces of his shattered life. He could only hope that one day, he would be able to forgive himself for the mistake that had cost him everything.
But until then, he was trapped in the body of a dainty princess, a constant reminder of the lesson he had learned the hard way.
