It’s all very well being the hero of Hyrule, but there are times when there just isn’t all that much hero-ing to be done – and when the pay is downright lousy. So when Link hears that Santa is seeking elves to help him in his grotto over the festive season, then he at once goes off to audition for the role. After all, who better to play an elf than an actual elf? So he rather fancies his chances of being hired, even though the specifics of the job do seem to be rather vague.
Santa himself is not, somehow, quite what Link had expected, but he immediately agrees that the elf may audition for the part – and, with a big smile, tells his attendant helpers to “take him away and have him prepped”, which Link takes as a very encouraging sign. He is again surprised to have the other ‘elves’ strip him to the waist, but since they are also rather scantily-clad, he assumes that this must be a requirement of the job. He is encouraged by their friendliness – though cannot help but wonder if they really need to be quite so friendly, especially when their hands rove searchingly over his body. He allows this until questing fingers fondle his groin, at which he objects and fends them off; but at least they do not appear offended and continue to smile at him, and at each other.
Finally they usher him back into Santa’s waiting presence, where Link’s return is greeted with a welcoming grin and a gesture that he should come closer……….
