The demon Azziel, savouring the sight of the captive He-Man held helpless before him, expounds upon the next phase of the hero’s torment, painting a morale-sapping picture of what this will do to his prisoner’s powers of resistance. He speaks of the futility of seeking to deny him, and of the increasingly obvious dichotomy between He-Man’s upright and unyielding mind and his body’s strong strain of sensuality which Azziel’s skill is steadily exploiting. And He-Man, listening in apprehension, tries his best to shut out the traitorous inner voice which whispers that the demon may yet be proved right……
