It's been a crazy September for me with finishing the off the feature film I'd been working on since last November. That's looking good and I hope it'll end up on Netflix or one of those streaming services at some point. I'll release more details of that later.
Then my Big render rig had a bit of a meltdown with windows collapsing like a house of cards. Apps not working, performance dragging .. the system crying out for a fresh install of Windows. Well I couldn't put it off any longer and so for half a week my main machine was out of action (so my Alienware laptop had to do the heavy lifting for producing panels .. it's good but no where near as fast as my big machine).
Long story short the big machine is now back up and running and working nice and fast. Indeed clearing out all the digital garbage seems to have vastly improved performance with renders now taking 10-20 mins to happen .. rather than the 1-2 hours from before.
So output was slowed down a bit last month but I'm working to pick things up again.
And just a reminder that a lot of teasers and art sets of my work go up on my Discord first so if you want to be invited to that just email me at 'sparkieshock@gmail.com' and I'll send you an invite link. There's expanded art sets along with some of my older work (and a few treats not found elsewhere).
