Added 2022-03-29 10:31:05 +0000 UTCI've always loved horror and scary things, even though when I was a kid I couldn't even play Ocarina of Time because I was too scared of the zombies outside of the temple of time. Nowadays, however, I'll binge on horror movies until I'm scraping the bottom of the barrell and lately I've also been getting into horror books - with the most recent one I read being The Haunting of Hill House (by Shirley Jackson).
I had such mixed feelings about that book. Initially I was sort of disappointed and then, days later, I found myself still thinking about it, going over passages in my head. That's when this image ocurred to me, so vividly that I just had to give it a go. Which, considering how pretty in pink my timeline has been lately... is quite a shift, isn't it?
