With this piece I tried to push my rendering skills a bit with this piece. This sort of shading (lineless, more structured around the blend of values) has never been a forte of mine, but I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out considering it's such a simple bust.
Also, with this piece, I mark the end of the last batch of commissions! Which means... well, info on the new batch will be out soon! I know this is something many of you have asked about and I'm in the process of putting everything together for the next opening, so please bear with me for a couple of days while I update everything and prepare forms and such.

Every piece came out well and showcased no small amount of effort and dedication π Secondly, more focused on this piece, I noticed that the bust has more depth to it than some of your other pieces (not that this is a bad thing, by any means!) As I'm not ~artistically savvy~, I can only assume that the perceived depth is a result of the rendering/shading technique employed? Regardless of the source, it adds an almost surreal personality to the subjectβwhile simultaneously casting it as a porcelain doll, some captured in time. It's a neat juxtaposition that elevates the bust, I feel π AlsoβI /love/ the texture of the hair and how it meshes with the subjects horns, skin and clothes. It's so soft and fluffy~
