This was a prime example of a piece that got out of control. It started quite simple- it was going to have a warm vibe, easy lighting. And then I had a crisis over values and decided to try something new- with a limited color palette and sharp contrast and suddenly I was overrendering it, and not really knowing what direction to take it in and crying a little inside and a week and some later here we are.
Overall I'm pretty pleased with it, but it was so much more work than I had anticipated. Lessons learnt though!
