"Kelrarath" Timelapse [ Lineart process ]
Added 2021-06-19 08:00:03 +0000 UTCWell, the title lies. It's a timelapse with a bit of the color process at the end, though it probably happens too quick to notice.
Either way, this piece was a mystery box reward in which I got to redesign this character and age her up a bit and man did I have some fun with it. These are my favourite kinds of pieces.
Something funny that happened with this video is that it was flipped- no matter how I edited in my video app, every time I uploaded it to youtube it appeared flipped sideways and upside down. I managed to correct the upside down, but I am pretty clueless about why it remained facing left. Has anyone had this problem before?

2021-06-21 11:56:42 +0000 UTCHaha yeah, I still forget how to draw noses sometimes. As for the canvas- procreate doesn't record canvas flipping (which I do A LOT OF) so I don't know it's that. I did read something about the canvas saving the previous drawing's settings so perhaps it's that, but who knows. Technology is just magic by another name.

2021-06-20 00:05:37 +0000 UTCI love this process! It was really cool to see the whole thing get created from nothing, and even some of your little test sketches to ensure you had something correct. I've never seen the facing issue before - that's very weird. I would only guess that the canvas got flipped at some point so it uploaded it respecting that, but that's just a wild guess. At least it doesn't diminish the process view!
