Should I commission some custom animations?
Added 2021-12-02 09:04:41 +0000 UTCHiya guys, TAD here, back again, once again! Today, I want to ask y’all opinion on something that’s been on my mind for a bit.
As y’all know, Feline Fantasies is my baby; four and a half years in the making and we’re finally reaching the end. It’s making me very eager and ecstatic!
As such, I was thinking of something sweet to send this game off properly: a few custom animations consisting of a couple of seconds each.
However, as you all may know, animations are expensive. Even animating a few seconds of a scene will cost me hundreds of dollars.
now to me, personally, it is worth it. I’ve got a few pretty cool shots in mind that would also compliment the trailer very well.
But, ultimately, it’s all up to you guys. If I do this, and Northern Ruby Island doesn’t perform well enough, it means the four bonus felines won’t be an option anymore.
So, do I take the risk with the idea that Northern will do well enough that I can cover these costs in the long run and thereby adding some very cool animated shots in the game and the trailer, or do I play it safe and keep this idea on the back burner for now? Leave your vote below!
Saturday Nala’s finished SFW art! Until then, stay safe! :3

2021-12-02 20:01:31 +0000 UTCStory won’t be ending abruptly, tho. The only thing that might (potentially) not happen are the bonus felines should Northern not do well enough.

2021-12-02 18:29:20 +0000 UTCSince the number of contributors has shrunk in just two days, I am of the opinion to "stay on the back burner for now!" While it would be nice to have some animation, better (in my opinion) a job finished with all the characters, rather than the story ending abruptly. It would be disappointing. But again, that's my opinion.
