Big General Update #1!

Hi guys, TAD here! Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! Anyway, I am here with a general update to show you guys some progress on the game overall. Next week, I'll have Luna's completed SFW art for you guys, but until that, I'd like to show you some screenshots! :3

For anybody who remembers; Southern Ruby Island finishes off with handing over the ruby to Medea, so she and Gracie can help you cross towards Northern Ruby Island. This will be the very first scene you'll encounter after completing Southern Ruby Island, and it will also be the first time two felines interact with each other! :3

Tir and I went with a style where the character who is talking, the art is big and bright, whereas the character who is listening is small and dark. We both agreed it looks very clear who's talking this way. Also, for anybody with a sharp eye, Medea's expression is a new one, courtesy of Putrid Piranha! So thanks a lot for that! :D

Furthermore, this scene will reveal a bit more information about Gracie's and Medea's relationship, so I hope you guys will like it. :)

Once you've actually crossed, the very first feline you'll encounter will be no other than Puck! She'll be your general guide and the feline with the knowledge and info about a lot of things. Learn more about the curse of the Cat-astrophe and your own past from her! :3

From there, you can explore Northern Ruby Island just like you could Southern Ruby Island. The game play is exactly the same, except that unlocking the felines on Northern Ruby Island will be a fair amount more challenging than they were on Southern. 

Also, the backgrounds you see on the screenshots will be placeholders. Every big location will get its own backgrounds to give the scene more life!

Speaking of backgrounds, I have got a couple to show you guys! ^^

For Puck's SFW scenes, you'll be encountering her in a beach house, near the sea. Just like in the screenshot example, she'll be floating in the air.

For her NSFW scene, she'll be lying at the beach at night, the sea lapping gently at her head while fireflies fill the air! I hope you guys enjoy the decisions for her backgrounds. :3

For Blair's SFW art, you'll find her in a halloween themed hut! She'll be sitting on the table while she's cooking something. Don't ask me what it is! :P

Lastly, for her NSFW art, she'll be lying on that exact same table, only from a different angle. I hope you guys enjoy the decision for her backgrounds as well!

The other backgrounds are still being drawn as we speak! I estimate that there will be over twenty different backgrounds in total. I hope that gives an indication of how large Northern Ruby Island is. It's been a bit more work than Southern Ruby Island because of it. :P

Then, finally, I want to talk a bit about the mini-games. There are about 4 or 5 new mini-games planned for Northern Ruby Island in total, which the screenshot underneath here is one of them in development.

The goal of this mini-game is to click on the Magic Book that's floating over the screen. The grey area around it is its hitbox. Click anywhere on it and you complete the game. However, there will also be Dark Magic Bubbles floating over the screen, courtesy of the Cat-astrophe. They are dangerous and will have the chance to consume you! Click on three Dark Magic Bubbles and it is game over. This mini-game is all about speed and accuracy! 

As for the existing mini-games for collecting Wood and Rope, those will stay available on Northern Ruby Island! Tir updated the games so that they can be played infinitely. See the attachment below to try them out! :D
