Added 2024-02-13 19:00:07 +0000 UTCI realized recently how outdated the offerings here are. I wrote and formatted them all initially without really having a clue of the future of my channel or the content I would be creating. For TL;DR, I'll bold the main points.
With that in mind, most likely by the end of the week I will have an entire restructure of every offering for every supporting tier (aside from the Supporter tier, that'll likely stay the same). This will include more options to engage with future content as well as new perks, both regular and occasional in their frequency. Pricing will not be affected, just minor changes to their offerings as well as a new tier above $20. Anything changed that might affect anything in a request queue will be grandfathered in, so even if you decide to change your tier, you won't miss out on current perks.
I will also be launching a Ko-Fi, so upon going public over there, if you choose to migrate, feel free. The tiers there will be exactly the same. I figure it's better to offer more options as both YouTube doesn't allow my channel to have memberships (music channels aren't often permitted because of copyright fears) as well as looking to the future of my situation.
My current part-time job isn't looking secure right now and I'm likely to be forced out within the year. There's been a recent workforce restructure and as a result, the culture at my workplace has gotten more corporate and suffocating. They've changed to 12 hour shifts, and though my position remains unaffected and secure for the immediate future, it will become redundant in time. Many people who WERE affected have already quit en masse due to the stress and sudden change (they gave everyone a MONTH from announcement to enforcement). It's not looking great, so it's very possible I'll try to go full-time on content this year. IF I can get enough support online to pay bills with confidence. Time will tell, but I'm just trying to get ahead of the curve before it's too late.
