As a bit of my usual context that is never asked for, this song plays after the boss fight against Captain Ahab in Limbus Company Canto 5. The following contains Limbus Company Canto 5 spoilers for anyone whom does not wish to read that: This song is sung from the perspective of Ishmael, and is about how Ishmael lost her 'compass', her Curiosity. She wanted to see knew things and ended up signing on to Captain Ahab's crew back in the past, and Ahab had a silver tongue and was highly skilled at Gaslighting, and used that skill to essentially erase the desires of her entire crew and replace them with her own goal, where they would lay down their lives for Ahab's goal of slaying the Whale. This ultimately gets the entire crew killed except Ishmael who swears revenge, but in the end, when this song plays, she realizes that she had become another Ahab, but her Whale to kill was Ahab. Ishmael realizes that there would be no end to her hatred to be found in killing Ahab, and decides to kill the whale, and to become the captain of her own ship(life) and to move on from Ahab. No forgiveness, just moving on Apologies if nothing I said was coherent, I am running on less than an hour of sleep.
