Ah I've just caught the Mrs Flood "always hiding myself away line." Missed that the first time around. Matches up with the Doctor talking to Ruby about regeneration and also being able to hide themselves a few minutes earlier. I'm still none the wiser though. XD She does seem quite self aware so not sure if it's a chameleon arch thing? At least not the way I understand it. I liked Lenny Rush's character. I thought he had good comedic timing, although I did find some of the dialogue hard to hear the first time I watched the episode on my pc. Was better when I watched again on the TV. That last ten minutes I think was one of the most tense I've ever had watching a Doctor Who episode. Fantastic build up. Lets hope they stick the landing with the next episode.

2024-06-17 20:18:04 +0000 UTCBy the looks of things, they'd filmed this episode around this time last year, Lenny Rush would've been a bit closer to 13. Interesting that you mentioned the Beast of Krop Tor, Gabriel Woolf voiced Sutekh in the first appearance back in Pyramids of Mars (On my list to watch before next week) and Returned to voice Sutekh here, but also voiced the Beast in The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit.
