March Reward post and April-May project first look!

Hello my Sweethearts!

I’m finally here with the March rewards.
Many of you have already lost the patience of my rare activity or being late and I understand it.  I’m very grateful to you who still trust in my and Dzikan photography ability to still be able to provide rewards and updates. Thank you for this and my sincere apologies to my friends who didn’t find the support worthwhile.

Misato was a really fun project to work on and as a bonus there are few images left to be finished in the future. Some of them just don’t merge well with finished images, and would appear a bit out of place. So we decided to leave them for the right time.
Basically we had that interesting small sand area and wanted to play with the idea of desolation after the first impact. But in that case we should’ve shot everything in a more dark menacing manner. Sometimes ideas just don’t work out with each other. )

There were several ideas for Misato photoshoot. One, of course, homegirl side with a beer can. Funny, playful and maybe naughty. )
Another idea was shoot her in a true Evengelion fashion. In a dark, closed room, occupied with her thoughts and grief. Feeling lonely, but trying to be strong. The idea that she constantly tried to push in Shinji’s mind. Very mature and dark tone.
Next idea was to show her in a romantic situation. Where she can fully show her mature true woman form. But in that case she would need a different dress.
In the end we found a very big open space and in the end decided to go with office/fashion style. We couldn’t find proper sets for ideas I mentioned, but I think since we have established concepts, this ideas may appear in the future. )

This reward post will be a bit unusual, because I also want to share the Jinx first look.
So this post is also a progress update post.
I hope it won’t confuse you that much. I wanted to create a separate post for it, but I really want to show you that even so we were late with sending rewards (they were actually finished for some time and I just didn’t have time to sit and prepare everything for sending) we were also working hard on April-May project already.

I really love the first look. I love that it has a certain movie-like feel to it. Also the emotion is perfect and says more than words can. Since we decided not to portray Jinx’s insane side, we pushed more towards “before-changes” “vulnerable” state.

Oh boy, this project will be a pain in a butt to work on post-production. A lot of different colors, parasitic tones and generally hard light scheme to work with. All this for neon lights and emulating their light on model. Please send strength to Tao, who will once again hard carry this project in my opinion. But the more project needs attention, the better it’ll look in the end. I’m speaking from my experience. And after the Demi project I think he shouldn’t fear anything, haha. )

P.S.: After some thoughts I decided to make a small gift to you and share Jinx first look as a phone wallpaper with you.
To my friend who just came recently and I wasn’t able to welcome them, I want to mention once again that this project is a Main project for April-May period.
